Zorg Releases Digital Park Sensor System for Commercial and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

RALEIGH, NC (09.02.2021) – Zorg’s 8101 Industrial Park Sensor System was designed and built for today’s Heavy Duty vehicles to meet safety demands. Since 1998 Zorg has been supplying Parking Sensors for passenger vehicles and light trucks. The 8101 system was built to withstand the everyday abuse that service vehicles take with reinforced mounting brackets, heavier gauge wire, protective wire loom on all cables, and a waterproof module that mounts in the rear of the vehicle.  These features add up to an easier, cleaner, and more professional installation that takes less time than other products currently being installed.

Digital technology allows the system to learn obstacles such as hitches, tailgates, and other rear-mounted items that standard sensors would detect and alert to. A simple procedure allows the system to recognize these items as part of the vehicle without reducing the range or sensitivity.

The 8101 detects obstacles as far away as 8 feet from the rear of the vehicle and can also be used on the front of a vehicle where a 5-foot range protects the driver from front-end collisions. An in-cab warning beeper alerts to obstacles with four zones of protection (slow beep to steady tone), and an LED displays a warning simultaneously. The 8101 also supports the direct connection of a reverse alarm at the module for behind vehicle warning and an optional Digital display for the driver.

At Zorg, we pride ourselves on Exceeding DOT, FMVSS, and OSHA requirements for the workplace and vehicle safety standards. We also provide a 3-year warranty on all Zorg Safety products as a standard warranty.

Zorg supplies a full line of commercial-grade monitors, cameras, cables, collision sensors, and upfitter harness solutions and ships the same day in most cases. All Designed, Engineered and Tested in the USA.

The Great Alpine Wall of Bass Upgrades Add Excitement at Car Stereo One

TOLEDO, OH (08.26.2021) – The Great Alpine Wall Of Bass in the Car Stereo One showroom, in place now for 8 months, continues to add excitement while driving business.

On Tuesday, August 24th, an upgrade to further enhanced the flexibility of the Great Alpine Wall of Bass was completed. “We added the side-by-side pods, located on top of the wall, on a Bluetooth adapter to our Alpine water resistant 4-channel amp. A smartphone now controls the whole wall. The setup at Car Stereo One in Toledo is certainly one of the best displays in the country,” Alpine’s Chris Reavis related. Reavis, along with Steve McGaffee-Online Marketing, were part of the team that installed the Alpine Great Wall of Bass back in January of this year.

Parker Lopez (L), Company GM, and a new sales associate Eddie Vasquez are  pictured in front of the newly upgraded Great Alpine Wall of Bass.

Parker Lopez, Car Stereo One GM stated, “The Great Alpine Wall of Bass is truly amazing. When we crank it up the store’s front windows shake. When young drivers, who live on their cell phones, hear the bass they are blown away. That makes them want bass in their rides. They bring their friends back to the store for a demo of real bass. Our sales of Alpine subs and amps, along with source units, have definitely increased this year.”

Steve Braun, President of Car Stereo One, stated, “I believe that it is up to our industry, retailers and vendors alike, to bring excitement back to car audio. With the Great Alpine Wall of Bass we created an exciting in-store experience for consumers in Toledo and the surrounding area.

Alpine’s Chris Reavis gives a big thumbs up in front of the upgraded Great Alpine Wall of Bass.

The Great Alpine Wall of Bass features 30 woofers and 30 amps. It was the first of its kind in the whole country and definitely brought excitement back to car audio in the Toledo area. The 30 Alpine S-SB12V Halo woofer system links to create a wall across one side of the showroom. The 30 KTA-200M PowerPack mono amplifiers are mounted in a corner by the Great Alpine Wall of Bass.

Continuing, Braun offered, “The Great Alpine Wall of Bass came about following staff conversations with our area Alpine brand representative Dan Sparks. We were talking about car audio in the old days. One thing led to another. We took our ideas, with Steve McGaffee-Online Marketing, to Alpine and they gave the green light to go ahead with the project. The product was ordered and when it arrived in January Chris Reavis came up from Chicago and we knocked out the installation which took 3 days to get all in place.”

“The Great Alpine Wall of Bass is definitely being heard and felt. Our staff on the floor gets a lot of attention when they crank the volume. We are running some contests on social media. Our customers are able to snap images and make videos in front of the Great Alpine Wall of Bass which they can post on Tik Tok and other platforms for prizes. We plan a grand prize for the most views. A big thank you for the support from Alpine, Online Marketing and the work of our team,” Braun concluded.
