RINGWOOD, IL (10.31.2019) – Every year, Race Sport Lighting partners with a trendy automotive shop and puts together head turning Feature SEMA Builds for their booth #11879 in the North Hall. For SEMA Show 2019, Race Sport Lighting partnered with professional JEEP outfitter Badgerland Offroad, one of their Premier Jeep and Truck outfitting shops to build a brand new JEEP Gladiator customized to show off at SEMA. The popular Gladiator is the pickup version of the JEEP recently launched and is one of fastest growing customized vehicles on the marketplace for dealers to customize.

Jenny Arnold, Owner of Badgerland Offroad said in her interview, “Our Inspiration for this Jeep Build Comes from EVO Mfg Built Gladiator. We will be installing Beadlock Wheels, 37” Arturo Tires, Front Bumper, and of course a ton of Race Sport Lighting”

PAC Announces RadioPRO Integrated Installation Kit for Ford trucks with 8” Radio

CLEARWATER, FL (10.31.2019) – PAC has announced the release of its new RadioPRO Integrated Dash Kit for Ford Trucks with 8” radio.

The RPK4-FD2101 is packed with great features for the F-150 and SUPER DUTY trucks.

This OE-matched kit includes everything needed to replace a factory 8” radio, enabling Ford pickup drivers to add features like CarPlay or Android Auto. The Ford factory feel is retained by relocating the factory HVAC panel to accommodate the new aftermarket radio.   

The kit includes a brand-new ultra-wide 5.2” LCD touchscreen panel that the driver can touch and swipe to control vehicle settings, manually trigger cameras, and even see vehicle information and performance gauges! The USB port supports future firmware updates to allow for even greater expandability and control as additional future accessories featuring PAC-LINK are released.

Oracle Lighting Launches New LED Illuminated Wheel Rings

METAIRE, LA (10.29.2019) – ORACLE Lighting has launched its new Dynamic ColorSHIFT LED illuminated wheel rings during the 2019 SEMA Show, held in Las Vegas, Nev. from Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #C21505.

“Our illuminated LED wheel rings are an easy and effective way to light up the wheels on your car or truck,” explained Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “These head turning lighting products consist of a set of four (4) LED illuminated aluminum rings which install around the brake rotor and attaches to the brake dust shield. These can also be mounted to older vehicles with drum brakes. The effect is a large ring of light which accents custom wheels and suspension, and also stands out at events. Oversized 16.5-inch diameter is the largest on the market and fits oversized brakes.”

Oracle Lighting’s Dynamic ColorSHIFT LED Wheel Rings are the latest advancements in the company’s expansive lighting modification history. “The Dynamic features allow the user to run multiple moving color patterns through the wheel ring, creating a vivid eye-catching lighting effect,” Hartenstein continued. “Conveniently controlled through a free smartphone App, the system features more than 200 pre-programmed moving patterns as well as static color control.”

The kit includes plug and play waterproof wiring cables, easy-connect hub, fused battery leads, and the Dynamic LED Control box which syncs up with Apple or Android smart phones through the free app. Rings easily attach to the fixed dust shield behind the rotor on most late-model vehicles with the included stainless steel brackets and mounting hardware.

“The motion-effects of the LED patterns make the wheels look like they are moving even while parked,” Hartenstein concluded. “Conveniently controlled through the free smartphone app, the system features lighting controls, colors, patterns, speed and, in addition to the pre-programmed features, the user can also create custom designs through a pixel editing program in the app.”

The Double LED Wheel Rings are equipped with 162 super-bright 2835 LEDs (648 LEDs total), twice the brightness of Oracle’s standard LED Wheel Rings.

The 15-inch Diameter LED Wheel Rings are smaller than Oracle’s standard Wheel Rings. Designed to fit 18-inch wheels or smaller.

Oracle notes that if your vehicle is equipped with drum brakes or does not have a brake dust shield you will need to perform additional fabrication for brackets to fit properly. Saddle Tramp by Metra Electronics Introduces New Motorcycle Lighting Accessories at SEMA Show

HOLLY HILL, FL (10.29.2019) – Metra Electronics has announced new motorcycle lighting accessories from Saddle Tramp that will be on display at the 2019 SEMA Show. Originally introduced under the Metra PowerSports division, Metra’s Saddle Tramp brand has now grown to include its own catalog to meet the growing demand for aftermarket motorcycle upgrades. Many new universal and vehicle-specific lighting products are included in the product line, with several items designed specifically for a wide range of popular Harley-Davidson models to offer OEM-quality upgrades with the signature “Harley” style in mind.

RGB LED Headlights and Auxiliary Lights
Saddle Tramp has designed new, round addressable RGB LED lights with a full halo and black front face. The BC-706RGBKT kit includes 7” headlights, 4.5” auxiliary lights, an RGB controller and a 7” retaining ring. The headlight has (9) 5-watt LEDs with a 3,600 lumens high beam and 2,400 lumens low beam. The auxiliary lights have (6) 5-watt LEDs with a 1,400-lumen light. With 120 color-changing patterns and DIY pattern functions, the RGB lights can be synced to music through an app controller compatible with Android and iOS devices. Both the headlights and auxiliary lights feature a durable polycarbonate lens and H4 connector.

Replacement LED Taillight for 1999-Up* Harley-Davidson Models
Saddle Tramp has also designed a unique replacement LED taillight with an eagle claw style for 1999-up* Harley-Davidson models. This taillight provides super bright, fast-acting visual alerts with 20 red LEDs for running and braking lights and 6 white LEDs for the license plate. The BC-HDTL9 has a black and red smoke colored lens with a clear protective cover, a contemporary style and color temperature of 6,000K to 6,500K.

Chrome LED Windshield Trim
The new generation II chrome LED windshield trim (BC-WSTSB14) has been upgraded with brighter flat-style LED lights. Made to fit 2014-up* Harley-Davidson models, it comes with 16 amber LED turn and running lights with a dim level for the running lights and bright level for the turning lights. A load equalizer, sold separately, may be required for operation, depending on the application.

Smoke Lens Turn Signals and Brake Lights
Saddle Tramp has designed 3 new pairs of turn signal, running and brake lights with a smoke-colored domed lens for Harley-Davidson models with 3.25” round lights. No additional adapter is needed for these direct replacement lights, making for an easier installation. The BC-PC1157A comes in a single amber color for the turn and running lights, while the BC-PC1157AW comes in a dual-color with amber for the turn signal and white for the running light. Both are sold in pairs and fit the 1157 base. The BC-PC1156R is a single-color brake light that fits the 1156 base with bright red LEDs. All three pairs of lights feature (24) 6-watt LEDs with 720 lumens of illumination to provide a bright yet stylish upgrade for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Highway Bar Switchback Lights
Riders will benefit from added visibility with Saddle Tramp’s highway bar switchback lights that come in black (BC-MHBSBB) or chrome (BC-MHBSBC) finishes. Each pair includes (6) 6-watt white LED driving lights and (6) 6-watt amber LED signal lights to fit 1.25” round bars for Harley-Davidson, Indian, Victory or other motorcycle models. The lights illuminate white while driving and amber while turning to ensure that other drivers will see the rider on the road. Rubber inserts are included with every light bar. A load equalizer, sold separately, may be required for 2013 and earlier models.

Directed Announces Updated Dealer Agreements to Protect and Empower Brick and Mortar Retailers

VISTA, CA (10.28.2019) – Directed has announced a new suite of sales policies to protect its valued 12 Volt dealer partners and enable them to compete effectively in today’s changing retail landscape.

Clarissa Zulick Joins Directed as Chief Financial Officer

VISTA, CA (10.25.2019) – Directed has announce dthat Clarissa Zulick has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to CEO Bob Struble, she will sit on the Executive Staff and oversee all aspects of Directed’s finance and human resources functions.

“Clarissa came to Directed on an interim basis in June and her efforts and performance made it an easy decision to make her a permanent employee,” said Struble. “She was instrumental in our recent effort to spin Directed out of our parent holding company and set us up as a standalone, and has excelled in managing our financial and HR functions.”

Before joining Directed, Zulick served in several executive roles across industries including consumer products goods, computer hardware distribution and medical device manufacturing. She most recently served as CFO at Mamma Chia and COO/CFO at Arbitech. As an operator, Clarissa has driven significant value creation across several businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Math Applied Science at UCLA and her MBA from Yale.

“I’m thrilled to join Directed as CFO,” added Zulick. “In the few months that I’ve been here, it has been exciting to see how Directed is leading innovation in the aftermarket automotive space.
