GENEVO America Names Industry Veteran David McKee as Director of Sales

FT. MYERS, FL (08.10.26) – GENEVO America is thrilled to announce the addition of industry veteran David McKee as Director of Sales. Mr. McKee joins GENEVO with deep industry experience, having served as a Regional Sales Manager for K40 for eight years, prior to joining the company. In his new role, McKee will help lead the next phase of GENEVO America’s growth, building out the dealer network and expanding the brand’s footprint across the North American 12-volt market.

“One of the advantages I see at GENEVO is that everything is done in house,” says McKee. “The technology, the engineering and the install technicians are all in the same building, so getting products to market, receiving feedback and providing updates is an incredibly efficient process. It was one of the most impressive aspects of the company that led me to sign on.”

The high-end radar and laser detection brand was founded in the Czech Republic in 2011 and with its overseas success arrived in the North American markets early this year. GENEVO features the MAX portable detector, the PRO II and PRO II DUO installed radar detectors, and the LP laser defense system. The MAX and PRO II series both come with a bevy of features, including a GPS database of stationary speed and red-light cameras. This free database is updated monthly.

McKee was impressed with GENEVO’s commitment to keep their customers informed and protected. “In a subscription-heavy world, our database will be free for life. I also like the exceptional level of support GENEVO offers. There are people available that support both the dealer and the end user. Its done right.”

Ray Woolf, CEO of GENEVO America, praised McKee’s deep industry experience and track record of driving both technical and financial account performance. Partnering with McKee reflects Woolf’s collaborative dealer-first, mindset. “Now we can start talking about programs and numbers,” Woolf noted, “and be a little more out-of-the-box where it makes sense.”

“I know the extensive training that he went through to perfect his craft and his art. It was a very clear decision for me to bring him on,” explained Woolf. “He thoroughly supports the vision of the brand. We are a 12-volt-first company, and that mindset shows up in everything from how we engineer our products to how we support our dealers. With David helping lead our growth, we think that approach will move the entire industry forward.”

Automotive Entertainment OC Builds on Successful Digital Fabrication Training with New September Class

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (08.10.26) — Automotive Entertainment OC is continuing its commitment to hands-on industry education following the success of its 3-Day Digital Fabrication Class, held July 24–26, 2026, at the company’s Huntington Beach facility.

The July training brought together automotive professionals from across the industry for three days of hands-on learning centered around the technologies that are changing the way custom automotive projects are designed and built.

The training was led and supported by experienced industry professionals, including Lino Morales, Jeremy Katz, Chris Yato, Andrew Esparza, JT Torres, and Jason Tzintzun, who shared their knowledge, experience, and different perspectives with attendees throughout the three days.

The class also welcomed respected members of the automotive industry as students, including John Schwartz, CEO of SoundShield, further demonstrating the growing interest in digital fabrication and its applications within the industry.

Real-World Experience Behind the Training
One of the biggest advantages of Automotive Entertainment OC’s training program is that digital fabrication is not something the team uses only for demonstrations or classes.

It is part of the shop’s everyday workflow.

Automotive Entertainment OC regularly uses 3D scanning, CAD design, reverse engineering, 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting to design and complete real customer projects.

That daily experience is what shapes the training.

Students learn from real-world applications, challenges, and solutions developed inside an active automotive fabrication shop. The focus is not simply on learning how to operate the technology, but on understanding how to incorporate it into an everyday workflow to improve accuracy, solve problems, save time, and create new possibilities.

“Our goal is simple,” said JT Torres of Automotive Entertainment OC. “We want every student to go home with new skills they can immediately start applying to their everyday projects and their business.”

Industry Support Made the Experience Possible
The July training was also made possible through the generous support of industry sponsors and partners, including Exile Audio, ORCA Design & Manufacturing, Creaform, Amplify AM, and SendCutSend.

Their support helped Automotive Entertainment OC create an even more valuable experience for attendees. Throughout the training, students had opportunities to win tools, products, credits, and other prizes provided by participating sponsors.

For Automotive Entertainment OC, these partnerships are about more than giveaways. They connect students with companies, tools, products, and resources that can help them continue developing their skills long after the class is over.

The Automotive Entertainment OC team is grateful to every sponsor, instructor, industry professional, and student who contributed to making the July class a success.

Next 3-Day Digital Fabrication Class: September 11–13, 2026
Building on the momentum of the July training, Automotive Entertainment OC will host its next 3-Day Digital Fabrication Class on September 11, 12 & 13, 2026, in Huntington Beach, California.

The upcoming class will focus on:

3D Scanning

Reverse Engineering

Surfacing

Real-World Digital Fabrication Workflows

Students will learn how to capture real-world parts using 3D scanning technology, work with scan data, reverse engineer existing components, develop accurate surfaces and CAD models, and understand how to move from a physical object to a usable digital design.

The class is designed for installers, fabricators, shop owners, designers, engineers, and other professionals who want to add modern digital fabrication skills to the work they are already doing.

Just as with the July class, the emphasis will remain on hands-on, practical learning rather than theory alone.

Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, work alongside experienced professionals, and see how the same technologies being taught in the classroom are being used every day at Automotive Entertainment OC to complete actual customer projects.

The goal is for every attendee to leave with practical knowledge and new skills they can begin using immediately.

Event Information
3-Day Digital Fabrication Class
September 11–13, 2026

Alpine Returns to Dodge Performance at Roadkill Nights 2026

Attendees Will Be the First to Experience Exclusive Dodge Audio Concepts Designed to Celebrate a Shared Legacy

Pontiac, Mich. (Aug. 8, 2026) — Alps Alpine of North America, Inc. (“Alpine”) will return to Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge this August with an exclusive showcase that celebrates decades of performance heritage and offers enthusiasts a glimpse into what could come next.

Long before premium factory audio became commonplace in American performance vehicles, Alpine and Dodge shared a vision for delivering an unforgettable driving experience. Beginning in the mid-1990s, Alpine supplied factory audio systems for the legendary Dodge Viper, helping define the soundtrack of one of America’s most iconic performance cars. That relationship would grow over the years, with Alpine engineering premium audio systems found in numerous Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.

Now, that legacy takes center stage once again.

Visitors to the Alpine display at Roadkill Nights will be the first anywhere to experience an exclusive preview of two early audio concepts created specifically with today’s Dodge enthusiast in mind. These concepts explore new possibilities for performance audio integration while celebrating the passion, power, and personality that define the Dodge brand.

Alpine isn’t announcing a new product.

Not yet.

Instead, attendees will receive an exclusive first look—and more importantly, a first listen—to ideas currently being explored by Alpine’s engineering team. These concepts represent Alpine’s ongoing commitment to pushing premium in-vehicle audio forward while honoring the performance heritage shared with Dodge enthusiasts.

Roadkill Nights is where passionate enthusiasts come together to celebrate American performance,” said Mike Henhard, Senior Vice President of Mobility Sales and Engineering at Alps Alpine North America, Inc. “There couldn’t be a better place to share what’s inspiring our engineers and to hear directly from the people who live and breathe these vehicles.”

Because these are early concepts, they will only be showcased during Roadkill Nights. The event will mark the public debut, giving attendees an opportunity to experience them before anyone else.

Whether you’re a lifelong Viper fan, a modern Charger or Durango owner, or simply appreciate the evolution of American performance, the Alpine booth will offer something you won’t find anywhere else.

Experience It First.

Join Alpine at Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan, where performance, horsepower, and premium sound come together for one unforgettable weekend.
