RetroSound Releases Liberty DIN Radio – a Smart Solution for Cut Dashboards in Vintage Vehicles

HENDERSON, NV (6.19.25) – RetroSound®, a leading provider of classic car audio solutions, has announced the release of the RetroSound DIN Solutions Liberty Radio, a DIN-sized model designed to solve one of the most common challenges in classic vehicle restoration: modified or cut dashboards.

While most RetroSound radios are engineered to fit unaltered factory dash openings, the Liberty is purpose-built for vehicles that have already been modified to accept single-DIN radios. These alterations, often made decades ago for aftermarket cassette or CD players, have left many classic cars with limited upgrade options. The Liberty offers a clean-fitting, visually appropriate alternative that avoids the need for poorly matched modern units or expensive dash repairs.

“We know how much care goes into restoring these vehicles,” said Steve Harrington, President of Retro Manufacturing. “The Liberty was developed to meet years of customer demand for a high-quality, periodappropriate solution that fits right, installs easily and delivers modern performance without compromising vintage appeal.”

The DIN Solutions Liberty is compatible with multiple RetroSound motor options, allowing users to tailor the features to their needs and budget.

The Liberty radio is especially well-suited for GM and Ford vehicles from the 1960s and 1970s, including models like the Chevrolet Chevelle, C10 pickup, Camaro, and Ford Mustang or F-100. Many of these vehicles were modified with DIN openings during past audio upgrades, and RetroSounds’ Liberty now offers a clean, factory-style fit with modern convenience.

With its slim profile, easy three-step installation process, and range of feature sets, the Liberty provides an ideal audio solution for professional shops and DIY builders alike. It is a cost-effective way to enhance functionality without altering a vehicle’s character.

The RetroSound Liberty radio is available now through our website and authorized RetroSound dealers.

SiriusXM Media and Narrativ Team Up on AI Voice Replicas in Audio Advertising

NEW YORK, NY (6.18.25) – SiriusXM Media announced a new agreement with Narrativ to launch an ad initiative which will allow brands to leverage AI-generated voice replicas and use them to make audio advertising creative at scale, while empowering the humans behind the voices to maintain control of their likeness. Through SiriusXM Media’s self-service creative tool, named AdMaker, advertisers will soon be able to tap into high-quality ads that combine in-house creative agency Studio Resonate’s production expertise with Narrativ’s innovative AI voice technology.

This collaboration will offer brands more flexible, cost-efficient, and scalable creative options within audio, while still benefitting from the human touch of Studio Resonate’s award-winning creative direction. For the voice actors who work with SiriusXM Media and choose to opt in to Narrativ, this solution will offer them the opportunity to earn additional income through the licensing of their voice replicas while maintaining full ownership and control over voice usage, including the ability to approve or reject every ad using their voice replica. This is reflective of Narrativ’s commitment to consent, compensation, and control when it comes to the use of AI likeness in advertising; Narrativ was one of the first AI companies to embrace ethical use, and signed a deal with SAG-AFTRA in 2024 to protect and monetize union talent voice replicas.

Here’s how it will work: In AdMaker, advertisers will be able to choose to use an AI voice replica from the roster of voice actors who opt in to Narrativ. From there, Studio Resonate’s creative team will oversee the ad’s production. Each ad must be approved by both the voice actor and the advertiser before it goes live. By combining the AI voice replica of an expert voice actor with human-led creative direction, this solution will enhance Studio Resonate’s audio ad production capabilities and offer advertisers more flexible creative options at scale.

“We are thrilled to be working on this new solution with Narrativ, which shares our belief in the power of the human voice – the heart of all great audio,” said Lizzie Collins, SVP and Head of B2B Marketing and Ad Innovation at SiriusXM Media. “This deal will open up new doors for AI voice technology to expand and augment, not replace, our creative capabilities and the talented voice actors we work with every day. It also represents a major step forward in making high-quality ad creative in audio more scalable, and more accessible, for brands.”

“Collaborating with an innovator like SiriusXM Media is an exciting milestone in Narrativ’s mission to advance ethical AI in audio advertising,” said Ben Gottdiener, co-founder of Narrativ. “As demand grows for faster, more scalable ways to produce audio ads, many advertisers are turning to AI voice platforms—often without knowing their models are trained on questionable datasets. We founded Narrativ to prove that it’s possible to offer cost-effective, scalable solutions that also protect voice talent. Working with SiriusXM Media to enable ethical, AI-powered ad creation is a cornerstone of our platform.”

This collaboration marks the latest step in SiriusXM Media’s continued investment in innovative audio ad technology and intelligent creative solutions. By streamlining production and expanding access to scalable, personalized creative with AI-powered ad solutions, SiriusXM Media makes it easy for advertisers – from local small businesses to global brands – to buy, produce, and measure high-quality audio ads across its self-serve platforms.

HATTIESBURG, MS (6.17.25) – N and H Electronics in Hattiesburg is a very proactive distributor with annual dealer shows and staff on the road in the territory. “DB Drive is a growing brand for us and when the opportunity came to hit the road with Leo Gonzales to make dealer calls, with Mark Sealey and Scott Rogers in our van carrying DB Drive samples, it was a definite YES,” Ricky Gibson related.

Leo and Mark (L) and with Scott heading out in the N&H van.

On Tuesday, June 10th, Mark and Leo hit the road with stops scheduled in Picayune and McComb. The dealer calls with Traffic Jams and Slack Cycles were very productive and then the van headed to RNR in McComb. At the end of the day the van circled back HQ in Hattiesburg.

At Traffic Jams in Picayune Leo laid out a wide variety of DB Drive products to Cole Tarnok on the counter. “It was terrific to see Leo in our store. N&H is a key business partner for us and Mark is always very helpful when we call their office,” Tarnok related.

The following day, Scott Rogers was behind the wheel of the N&H van as he and Leo headed out further east along the Gulf Coast with a stop in Mobile AL to see The Tweeter Shop and then on to Ocean Springs MS to visit with Wise Choice Audio.

Scott and Leo met with Jeff McCollough at The Tweeter Shop in Mobile. The display in the showroom really really stands out. McCollough offered to the 12volt Central staff, “I can’t sell it if I ain’t got it. We have been working with Ricky at N&H for over 20 years. It was very nice to see the samples Leo showed us.”

Scott and Leo wrapped Wednesday on the road in Ocean Springs at Wise Choice Audio. Greg Wise was with a customer when 12volt Central staff called. Greg Wise Jr commented that it was good to see Leo and the new DB Drive samples he showed on the counter. Wise Choice Audio has been working with N&H since 1982.

“Mark and Scott said at each stop they made dealers were excited to see Leo and DB Drive on the road to show products and talk about their activities to try to help dealers grow business. It was great for us working with Leo. He also spent time showcasing the latest DB Drive products to our staff in the warehouse. We certainly look forward to another opportunity to hit the road across our territory with DB Drive,” Gibson concluded.

DIAMOND BAR, CA (6.17.25) – The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) issued the following statement on its relationship with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA):

We are proud to announce that SEMA has been accepted as a full member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), to represent the U.S. in mobility services, tourism, and advocacy. FIA will also join SEMA as a business member, allowing the two organizations to bolster each other’s work in U.S. and global safety and mobility policy arenas at a time in which advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles are shaping the automotive industry in transformative ways. The emergence of these exciting, innovative automotive technologies – and the evolution of U.S. and global policies to meet these advancements – makes this the ideal time for SEMA and FIA to benefit from each organization’s respective strengths and reach.

While FIA is best known in the U.S. as the global governing body for motor sport, including Formula One and the World Rally Championship, SEMA will not be involved in this area; instead, this partnership, focused solely on mobility policy advocacy, will give SEMA a seat at the global policy table, and FIA an advocacy presence in Washington, D.C. Team Nutz is a proactive 12volt retailer located in Pittsburgh and returned to the Bantam Jeep Festival for the 2025 run. Ed Nuttall related, “The Bantam Jeep Festival draws thousands of Jeepers, enthusiasts and their rides. That crowd is noted for adding aftermarket products to their rides. We do a lot of Jeep upgrades at the store, and being so close to our store in Pittsburgh, it makes perfect sense for our brand to be on site. We had a great crew on site with vendor support, a large booth area with multiple tents plus several demo vehicles. Attendance was down a little this year due to rain in forecast. Sales this year were strong and our team of 8 made contact with so many enthusiast and promising prospects. In fact on Sunday we sold a Rockford Fosgate Jeep kit to an attendee that will be shipped to a customer in New York”.

Friday night downtown Butler was packed with Jeeps and thousands of enthusiasts.
People danced with the “I’m Trash”Team Nutz Jeep downtown.

Team Nutz is also spotlighting the company’s DIYCustoms.store in addition to driving on site sales and at the retail store in Pittsburgh. A free DIYCustoms.store offer was under the tent for attendees that liked, followed and tagged DIYCustoms.store on social media. There were 1000 T shirts on site and over 300 attendees took one home.

Just a couple of the winners with their free DIYCustoms.store T-shirts and Team Nutz staff Mike and Dylan.
Mike Gosnik was posting Team Nutz videos during the event.

Continuing “We made 5000 custom black rubber ducks for the event and gave out almost 4000. Downtown we went down along parked Jeeps and put ducks on hoods. The rubber ducks had the Team Nutz logo for all to see and remember. We also passed out 1000 stickers and over 200 lanyards” Nuttall related.

Concluding, Nuttall stated, “This was our 10th time to exhibit at the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. Based on our success at this year’s event expect to see us at the 2026 event and beyond.
