Oracle Lighting Announces New Rear Bumper LED Reverse Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL During SEMA360 Online Event

METAIRIE, LA (10.30.2020) – Oracle Lighting has announced the launch of the new Rear Bumper LED Reverse Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL (p/n 5874-504) during the SEMA360 online event Nov. 2-6, 2020. With an MSRP of $99.95, Oracle Lighting is currently taking pre-orders with plans to ship Dec. 12, 2020.

“A common complaint we hear from JL owners is low visibility when backing up at night,” said Justin Hartenstein, Oracle Lighting director of development. “There is not enough light from the reverse lights, even on the LED tail lights, for the factory camera to work well in the dark. We have developed a reverse light which seamlessly integrates into the bumper reflector area to provide more than 1,000 additional lumens when backing up at night. Utilizing a total of 22 high powered 3W LEDs, these small lights pack a big punch!”

If you are not satisfied with the light output of your factory reverse lights, Oracle Lighting has made it easy to replace the factory bumper reflectors with these high-output replacement auxiliary LED reverse lights. These durable lights feature a cast aluminum housing powdercoat finish and clear PMMA Lens. Installation uses factory mounting hardware and these lights tie into the reverse light wiring with the included T-taps. Note: Will not fit Willy’s or Sport models without rear bumper reflectors.

Additional features include:

  • Direct replacement lamp using existing hardware
  • Taps into existing reverse light power source without error code
  • Clean design with OE fitment and appearance
  • 11x 3W LEDs making 1,000Lm output each (theoretical)
  • Optic-focused wide beam pattern for extended field of view

According to the SEMA360 website, with the 2020 SEMA Show live event in Las Vegas not taking place and the industry recognizing the need for a viable marketplace during these challenging times, SEMA360 was created. As an online ecommerce solution taking place Nov. 2-6, 2020, SEMA360 focuses on manufacturer/attendee/media relationships, new product introductions, project vehicle debuts, industry-leading education and unparalleled networking opportunities. Truck Hero’s Ultimate Tailgate Truck Brings in $275K at Charity Auction

ANN ARBOR, MI (10.29.2020)  Truck Hero, Inc. joined partners of Building Homes for Heroes on the Barrett Jackson stage to auction off the 2018 SEMA Show truck build Ultimate Tailgate, a custom 2019 Ford F-350 Lariat. It was an exciting night as the truck brought in an incredible $275,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ with 100% of the proceeds from the sale benefiting the Building Homes for Heroes organization.

Truck Hero is a long standing supporter of the charity and Building Homes for Heroes representative Jim Rogers had this to say “Thank you for your amazing partnership! Together, we are changing lives.” The winning bidder and proud new owner was Sam Pack’s Auto Group out of Dallas, Texas.

The Truck Hero Ultimate Tailgate truck was a great collaboration with many partners including Ford Motor Company and Washtenaw (MI) Community College. It was a platform to display many of their innovative truck accessories at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV. The basis for the build is a 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty dually pickup in Lariat trim, equipped with the ever-popular 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel producing an impressive 450 HP and 935 lb.-ft. of torque.

Truck Hero design engineers created the Ultimate Tailgate truck as a platform to display many of the company’s truck accessories. The basis for the build is a ’19 Ford F-350 Super Duty dually pickup in Lariat trim, equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, producing 450 hp and 935 lb.-ft. of torque.

This build’s tailgating claim-to-fame is found out back, where an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 folding bed cover conceals a massive 65” LG OLED 4K TV that is remote controlled and fully-articulates on a custom bed slide system complete with a gaming table, YETI cooler, and grill. It truly is the ultimate tailgate!

Washtenaw (MI) Community College worked their magic with the truck’s body and paint. Students added custom touches, including billet emblems and copper-plated badges to give the rig its ultimate identity.

Building Homes for Heroes is a national nonprofit organization that builds and modifies homes and gifts them, mortgage-free, to veterans and their families. Since 2006, the organization has gifted more than 225 homes to worthy recipients nationwide and, for over a decade, Truck Hero has taken an active partnership in these ongoing efforts.
