Reliable Product Marketing Hosted a 4-City Firstech Compustar DroneMobile NorCal Training Series

STOCKTON, CA (10.18.23) – The Remote Starter season is on the near horizon and the 4-City training series was focused on preparing NorCal Firstech dealers with the latest product and feature sets to max sales in the coming months.

Scott Baughman, Reliable Product Marketing owner, related “We have hosted product training sessions and really have seen the results and benefits of hosting evening in-person training sessions. We set the schedule of the 4 events the first week of October in Norcal cities that made it as convenient as possible for many dealers to attend. A Stockton Sugar Bistro and 3 Cattlemens locations were selected. Then Brent Fujii and I set about letting dealers know and inviting them to the trainings.”

Scott Baughman (R) and Firstech’s Mike Rinehart welcomed dealers to the first training session at Sugar Bistro in Stockton CA on Monday October 2nd.

Continuing “I am humbled at the incredible turnout we had at this year’s Firstech trainings. To think that we doubled the size in a single year over 2022 is amazing. Not only were the trainings larger and better attended but they were also “Better attended” meaning that the people who showed up were ready to learn and that really impressed Brent and myself. With the help of Firstech’s Mike Rinehart we touched on the entire Firstech portfolio. In the end we trained nearly 200 people in a short 4 days and the training feedback has been phenomenal. The whole week was a win in my book!”

Bryan Nobuyuki, from Best Guys in Concord CA, was a dealer who attended the Firstech training at the Livermore CA Cattlemens. “The training was well focused with updates on current products and exciting news on soon to be released products. As a new authorized Firstech dealer I was able to learn their process regarding tech support as well as an overview their products line and the innovations that sets Firstech apart from the competition.”

The 4-City Reliable Product Marketing series wrapped with a full house at Cattlemens in Rancho (Sacramento) on Thursday evening October 5th.

As an additional benefit Reliable Product Marketing’s dealers attending were lucky to be the first group to see and touch the new CX-LTE Dash Cam from Momento.

“A huge “THANK YOU” goes out to all our dealers who attended our trainings, the support we received from AM Merchandising plus from Mike Rinehart and the entire Firstech team” Scott Baughman and Brent Fujii concluded.

Reliable Product Marketing was started in 2009, and with the owner Scott Baughman and Brent Fujii, they bring a combined 60 years of relevant 12volt experience.

The RPM Team Traveled to the AIMEXPO in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV (02.24.23) – “The AIMEXPO was the best one I have attended. The Powersports industry used to have a huge show in Indianapolis that went away years ago. AIMEXPO has moved around from Orlando to Columbus, OH to Las Vegas and I have been to most of them. This was larger and I think they sold out of space in the upper South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendance was running double last year” Scott Hochmuth, Real Performance Marketing Principal, related.

The AIMEXPO took place on the upper level of the South Hall at the LVCC.
The new JBL Rally Bar grabbed a lot of attention along with Infinity Kappa products in the booth.

Continuing, “I was there along with our SC/FL rep Joe Stelmack and our Mid-Atlantic rep John Gray. We bounced from booth to booth all through the show running to meet with dealers and learning more about the product lines on the AIMEXPO show floor.”

The AIMEXPO ran from Wednesday to Friday February 7th-9th. The 12volt footprint was about a 50-50 footprint in 12Volt Audio and Powersports along with a nice cross-section in the Powersports and Marine Audio segment. RPM had six lines there including JBL that had booths and met with four more RPM lines that were there but were not showing. Overall a very successful trip.

Apparel is a growing category with motorcycle and Powersports enthusiasts.
E-Bikes is a growing category and RPM is seeing interest in the marketplace.

Concluding, Hochmuth relayed, “Overall it was a very successful trip, We had a helmet line, a clothing line, three e-bike lines, and JBL showing the new Rallybar to Powersports dealers for the first time. None of them have heard a soundbar with that kind of sound quality and low-frequency response. Pre-orders have been brisk. Expected to ship in Q2.”

The JBL booth staff and RPM team capped a busy day at the event with a dinner. (LtoR) Joe Stelmack-RPM, Fred Isensee-JBL, Troy Carter-Vanevery Marketing, John Gray-RPM, Scott Hochmuth-RPM, Jon Kluiter-VMC Pros and Shawn Spedding-JBL.

Saddle Tramp Ships Combined DSP and Interface Products

HOLLY HILL, FL (08.04.22) – Saddle Tramp by Metra Electronics has added new products to their inventory designed to fit select 2014-up* Harley-Davidson FLH and FLT motorcycles to allow riders to upgrade their music experience and customize their sound system. These products feature combined DSP and Interface technologies. The DSP reflashes the OE radio and gives full tuning control from the palm of your hand. It is designed to integrate with factory audio systems and offers easy expansion of the sound system when using other Saddle Tramp accessories. These products are in stock now and available for shipping.

Combined DSP and Interface Technology

Saddle Tramp’s new BC-DSPL-HD2 and BC-DSPX-HD2 are designed for easy integration with aftermarket or factory systems and offer simple installation with plug-n-play harnessing. The key benefit of these products are their advanced integration technology that reflashes a non-amplified radio for a flat response curve, without the need for external equipment. Box 4.3 radios and install behind the motorcycle fairing.

The BC-DSPL-HD2 DSP provides six channels of output and a 15-band graphic EQ per channel, while the BC-DSPX-HD2 DSP features 10 channels of output and a 31-band graphic EQ per channel. Both products offer selectable crossover slopes. These products feature independent equalization for front, rear, and subwoofer, and the ability to read, write, and store configurations for future recall. The Saddle Tramp DSPs also retain balance and fade control so that the installer can further customize the radio sound. All tuning is done wirelessly via a free downloadable app, available exclusively for Android devices using the GooglePlay store.
