D’Amore Engineering Displayed New US Patented Technology at the MasterTech Expo

MESA, AZ (03.10.23) – “On February 28th we were awarded a 2nd US Patent for our Current Averaging Technology for Audio Amplifiers…It’s US Patent 11,594,955. The first patent is 11,204,955. The idea of these 2 patents is that it enables the installation of big amplifiers into things that don’t normally have a beefy enough electrical system to support a big amplifier” Tony D’Amore stated.

Attendees at the MasterTech Expo were amazed by the RZR’s system’s quality sound and volume.

To demo the technology D’Amore Engineering exhibited in a booth at the MasterTech Expo in Mesa, AZ March 5th-8th.

Continuing “We put 2700 Watts RMS into a Polaris side by side….complete with 18 inch subwoofer!! All of this on the stock electrical system which consists of 2 very small motorcycle batteries only. The Polaris was constructed at our facility, only 4 miles from the event, and showcased our patented technology to the large turnout at the MasterTech Expo on the grounds of the Mesa Convention Center.”

Tony D’Amore holds the latest U.S. Patent for the company’s Current Averaging Technology in the D’Amore Engineering AZ HQ.

“The demonstration of our Current Averaging Technology was truly a big hit. I think our booth had more traffic than most of the other booths on the outside exhibit area. We would like to ship by SEMA 2023 and launch there” D’Amore concluded.

“It was terrific to have the Tunes and Tint crew at the event and under the KICKER tent in the lobby. It was also terrific, and a big surprise, when Brad Ganz arrived at the event. Brad is the KICKER Central Regional Sales Manager and is on the mend from a very serious accident on the mountain bike trail and his travel have been very limited” Lorin Morrell, who orchestrates the KICKER AMA Arenacross Series events, related.

Lorin Morrell (3rd from L) is flanked by the Tunes and Tint team members at the event.
An excited Lorin Morrell with Brad Ganz in his vintage 1973 long sleeve T-Shirt.

A very busy Pit Party got the action started very shortly after the doors opened. Attendees walked the track and had an opportunity to meet the riders and check out the motorcycles they would be riding around the track and flying high over the mounds. As soon as riders left the starting gate the track was red hot as riders and attendees were Livin’ Loud.

The track was packed with enthusiasts for the Pit Party that got the night off to a fast start.
The stands filled as the racing was set to begin.

The KICKER tent in the lobby area, that virtually everyone who entered Amarillo National Center had to pass by, showcased a wide selection pf KICKER products for all to check out.

Brad Ganz offered “The event went very well. It was indeed wondrerful to have the staff from Tunes and Tint at the event. They were able to book a few appointments for KICKER installs and tint for this next week. They were all so very excited and they can not wait to do an event like this again in the future with KICKER. It was so much fun watching Stacy hand out KICKER lanyards and Koozies. She was just so enthusiastic and cleaver about it. She was able to get so many people to come up to the booth and ask questions about KICKER along with Tunes and Tint.”

The Bullfrog winner, all smiles with his Bullfrog prize, is flanked by Mike from Tunes and Tint along with Lorin Morrell (R).

“Powersports, trucks and marine are strong categories in the area..so the KICKER PowerBar grabbed attention. I talked with one fellow, who had a Soundbar from another brand, and he was so amazed at how much better the KICKER PowerBar sounded than what he has when I cranked it up” Morrell related.

Concluding Morrell stated “In addition to the action on the track wrapped KICKER T-shirts were tossed into the crowd during race breaks and track maintenance periods. A special KICKER T had a certificate wrapped inside for a KICKER BullFrog prize to be picked up at the KICKER display in the lobby. The crowd member who caught the KICKER T with the certificate was very happy when he went to the booth and picked up his Bullfrog prize.”

Wes Kain encouraging crowd members to wave their checkered flags for a chance to win a KICKER Lifestyle prize.

Members, across all sections of the 12volt industry, remember Larry Frederick as a man who did not mence words in any setting to make a point. In one instance probably 2 decades ago Larry, who was making an industry presentation during a meeting, was asked by the event organizer to leave the room for words he used during the presentation.

Larry Frederick had several business lives in the 12volt industry including Cerwin Vega/Diamond Audio, Elettromedia, Phoenix Gold plus Alpine and Concept.

In the business arena Larry Frederick was business casual with Tommy Bahama shirts, shorts and sneakers. But with a definite plan.

KICKER Marine Audio Wins Best in Entertainment In Bonnier Best Marine Electronics and Technology Awards 2023

Stillwater, OK – KICKER Marine Audio is proud to announce that its new series of KMXL marine speakers took the 2023 Best in Entertainment award in Bonnier Corp’s third annual Best Marine Electronics and Technology competition. While five other marine companies like KVH, Simrad, Garmin, Lowrance and Furuno won the other seven awards for various types of navigation, radar, imaging and satellite equipment, KICKER Marine Audio brought premium performance, Real Marine™ durability and immersive sound to the awards competition.

The “Best Elex” awards selections are reviewed by a panel of eight judges from Bonnier Corp’s editorial team, including Boating, Yachting, Saltwater Sportsman and Cruising World and are evaluated based on innovative technology.

Designed for use in the most demanding marine audio installations where ultimate power and performance are required, while building upon KICKER’s Real Marine TM design ethics and standards, the new KMXL horn-loaded coaxial loudspeakers incorporate several unique features that set them apart from traditional marine speakers.

A proprietary high-frequency horn design gives the KMXL series superior sonic performance, providing incredibly smooth and easy listening, even at extremely high volumes. This proprietary horn geometry prevents acoustic resonances and standing waves, for fatigue-free, long-term enjoyment. Super-efficient, lightweight midrange cone assemblies and advanced built-in crossover networks round out the KMXL designs for unrivaled sound performance and ease of installation.

Like all KICKER Marine Audio speakers, the KMXL series comes with UV treated grilles in both charcoal and white while its cones, baskets and grills are UV and salt fog tested and certified to withstand the marine environment. Speaker hardware is forged from rustproof 316L stainless steel for years of enjoyable use. Neodymium magnets in the motor assembly provide tremendous power, while being extremely light weight. The KMXL speakers come in 3 sizes: KMXL65 (6.5”) KMXL8 (8”) and the KMXL69 (6×9”). While the smaller speakers have a Recommended Amplifier Power (RMS) of 15-150 watts, the 8” speakers have been tested to run all day from 15-250 watts. And like most of the KICKER Marine Audio speaker lines, they incorporate RGB LED lighting. $649.99-869.99 UMAP

“KICKER Marine Audio is proud to have received this award from such a prestigious group of publications who know and understand the intricacies of marine audio,” said Jeremy Bale, KICKER Brand Manager, “We thank Bonnier for recognizing our design, engineering and top-quality sound.”

When upgrading a boat’s sound system—or installing a new one—look to the KICKER Marine Audio brand for dependability, durability and the best customer service in the industry. For more information visit http://www.kicker.com/marine-audio.
