12VOLT NEWS (11.29.25) – The Holiday Season is an opportunity for 12volt retailers to create a unique in-store experience for members of their local communities. Holiday themed exterior store front lighting and in showroom displays can bring smiles to customer’s faces. Making social media posts with Holidays themed images can draw store traffic. Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales activity in 2025 are set achieve online sales records. Proactive 12volt retailers can spotlight the advantages of shopping and making Christmas gift purchases locally.
The Black Friday promo activities and Thanksgiving Holiday just wrapped. Many proactive 12volt retailers will begin Monday, December 1, to set the Christmas theme outside and in their showrooms. Below are examples of proactive retailer’s holiday themes in recent years.

SHREVEPORT LA (11.26.25) Happy Thanksgiving 2025 to all across the 12volt industry from the 12volt Central Studios.
It goes without saying that 2025 has been another one of the craziest years since the Pilgrims celebrated the first Thanksgiving Festival meal in 1621.
OK, we’re past daylight savings time, Halloween and the election season and now it’s Thanksgiving 2025. Now we can look forward to December Holidays and New Year’s Eve and 2026.
Overall, we in the 12volt industry have fared somewhat better than many industries and businesses. That said, there are still significant challenges ahead. Continuing tariffs, rising prices plus the online and AI push to name a few muddy the water.
Let’s all remain positive for successful Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday events as we work to finish November 2025 on a high note and roll into December.

LAS VEGAS NV (11.25.25) SPAL had a very active booth upfront in the Central Hall with a very attractive towering exhibit plus all the interest in the unveiling of a fully custom 1969 Ford Mustang designed by the renowned Sean Smith and built by the expert craftsman at Vinny’s Hot Rod Shop. The vehicle was valued at $800,000.
At SEMA 2025 there was a crowd checking out the ‘69 Mustang in the SPAL booth.
“Thom Balistrieri, Director Aftermarket Sales, stated “Many 12volt retailers utilize SPAL door poppers and fans for hot rods and muscle cars jobs. SPAL made and shipped over 8 million fans last year. Many 12volt retailers visited the SPAL booth to see the possibilities of working on muscle cars….and of course to see the 1969 Mustang.”
On Thursday night, November 6th, the legendary industry band LED FOOT Band took the stage for a one night only performance at the Westgate Hotel Bar. Tom Balistrieri played the guitar and contributed vocals as the band played on stage before a full house.

The LED FOOT Band is also known for inviting fellow industry professionals to sit-in on stage which has often sparked incredible surprise performances. The band has been bringing the automotive aftermarket together for nearly 3 decades to rock, hang out and reconnect. During their performance, there was also merchandise available for sale to support a children’s charity across the country. LED FOOT has also performed for industry friends selling T-shirts and has donated by PWA to raise money for the SEMA Scholarship fund and later SEMA Cares.
“The SEMA Show 2025 was certainly an event to be remembered. Being on the floor in the Central Hall was an opportunity to drive business for SPAL. Being on stage at the Westgate will be something the band members and I will remember for rest of my years. Already looking forward to SEMA 2026” Balistrieri concluded.
ONTARIO CA (11.25.25) The recent SSR show in Houston on, Sunday November 16, was an amazing event. John Driscoll, PowerBass Western Regional, flew in and worked the event in the booth along with area rep Jimmy Bradfield with Momentum Marketing.
“There was a great turnout for the show in Houston and we had excellent responses to OE Speaker solutions and our PBM amp and Pro Coaxial offerings. We had an active display showing what the combination of products can really do.”
Driscoll and Bradford then headed to Dallas to hold a training for the SSR team at the Dallas branch with dealer stops along the way. Driscoll related “The training went very well with Tracy Farr and the team in Dallas. The PowerBass lineup of products is so broad. There are many opportunities for 12volt retailers to drive profitable business in their stores. The key is all working together to let consumers know the possibilities” Driscoll stated.

DENVER CO (11.24.25) The adrenaline pumping KICKER Monster Truck Show filled the National Western Complex in Denver on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22 with 2 events. Enthusiast in the stands experienced the thrill as giant trucks roared to life with jaw dropping stunts, flying high jumps and nonstop entertainment for the whole family. Bigfoot and Rat Attack monster trucks drew raves.
The stands were filled during each of the three events.
KICKER had a booth looking down at the action on the Complex floor. “It was an amazing event with all the action on the event floor and crowd enthusiasm. Also, two local KICKER dealers were in the house. Patrick and his son Noah from Foss Car Toys in Aurora and Mike Mathews from Foss Car Toys in Park Meadows had a chance to experience a KICKER Monster Truck Show and will take that energy back to their stores” Lorin Morrell, Maddog media related.

Those that came early could participate in the Pit Party where they were able to connect with the monster trucks on the track and meet the drivers plus take pictures and enjoy other family fun. The Pit Parties began 2 hours before the Monster Truck action. There was also barrel races and flag waving activities with lucky fans winning a KICKER Bullfrog.

Concluding Morrell stated “This KICKER Monster Truck event was definitely ’Top Shelf’. The PA announcers plugged KICKER and also the two Foss Car Toys stores. We handed out lanyards and several KICKER Tees. Patrick and Mike connected with attendees and think some will come to their store.”
LAFAYETTE, LA (11.24.25) Ricky Smith’s Audio in Lafayette and New Iberia LA has a long tradition of celebrating the holiday season with their community, customers and social media followers. The company’s main location is located in the popular South College Center in Lafayette, which is the home to a number of local retailers. The Center’s owners recently refreshed the centers appearance along the high traffic thoroughfare. More holiday updates will be done in the large parking lot to accent the Thanksgiving and Christmas themes.

The Ricky Smith’s team also work to provide holiday theme spirit that’s visible from the street and also inside of the showroom. For Thanksgiving the yellow and orange fallen leaves spotlights products behind the large windows in the store front. The autumn leaves theme continues with colorful fruit added.

Following this Friday’s Thanksgiving, the holiday theme will turn to the red and green of Christmas. Christmas trees with red and green lighting will shine in the showroom. The annual Toys for Tots Drive will also be a holiday theme in both the Lafayette and new Iberia locations.
