“We would like to thank all Team Massive Audio members for helping promote the Massive Audio brand at Slamology 2022. A special thanks to Jeremy and the “Pimpala” posting over 161 dB with HippoXL 8” beating cars with 12” and 15” woofers in the lanes,” Rigo Ibarra related for Massive Audio.
Jeremy Roller and the ‘Pimpala’ posted over 161 dB at Slamology in Indy.
Continuing, Ibarra related, “Also a special shout out goes to Cabe Sipes, of Pimp My Ride fame, for building the Hyundai SUV to show off Massive Audio’s sound quality capabilities. Many commented it was the best sounding car at Slamology. Cabe was told by show officials, that if the SUV would have had upgraded rims and a body kit it would have taken 1st place and not 5th place at the show out of 74 cars that entered.”
“As a company Massive Audio is doing all it can to not raise prices in support of its’ dealers. Massive Audio has held its pricing for the last three years unlike many other brands that have recently raised their pricing, two to three times, in the last year or so. Massive Audio is a supporter of authentic pricing and helping its’ customers out in times of need,” Ibarra concluded.
Massive Audio is looking for a few select “influencer” dealers to help with product development and to showcase products and installs. Call 323) 262-2262, ask for JR or email at Hmares@massiveaudio.com for further information on perks offered. Hablamos Español.

NEW YORK, NY (06.24.22) – SiriusXM and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) today announced that the two organizations are teaming up to honor Black Music Appreciation Month with a private event taking place on Thursday, June 30, including the unveiling of the SiriusXM Neighborhood Record Store and a live recording of the award-winning podcast, All Music is Black Music. The special night of programming is the latest in SiriusXM’s ongoing collaboration with and support of the NMAAHC’s mission in documenting African American life, history and culture.
“Since first joining forces one year ago with the launch of All Music is Black Music, SiriusXM and the National Museum of African American History and Culture have continued to develop and expand our relationship. We’re thrilled to now come together to honor Black Music Appreciation Month and officially unveil the next chapter of our collaboration with the SiriusXM Neighborhood Record Store,” said Jennifer Witz, Chief Executive Officer of SiriusXM.
“We commemorate Black Music Appreciation Month all across SiriusXM, in our hallways and on our airwaves, and we’re incredibly excited to now team up with the NMAAHC to take the celebration to Washington, D.C.,” said Nicole Hughey, SiriusXM’s Senior Vice President & Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. “We firmly believe in NMAAHC’s mission and are delighted to continue to find new ways to work together to promote and celebrate African American history and culture.”
The celebrations will kick off with the first-ever live audience recording of All Music Is Black Music, the award-winning SiriusXM original podcast. The Webby and Anthem Award-winning podcast, hosted by Selema Masekela, explores how African American music and culture have shaped the wider contemporary music landscape as told to listeners through artifacts housed within the NMAAHC’s collection. Guests appearing on location in the museum’s auditorium in Washington, D.C for the special episode are expected to include Dr. Dwandalyn Reece, NMAAHC Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs; 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and GRAMMY Award winning producers and songwriters Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis; and a special performance by singer and multi-instrumentalist Mobley, who composed the podcast’s theme song. This noteworthy edition of All Music is Black Music, along with all previous episodes of the podcast, will be available for listeners exclusively on SiriusXM – including the Volume Channel 106, the SXM App, Pandora, and Stitcher – following the event.
After the podcast recording, SiriusXM will officially unveil the newly-branded SiriusXM Neighborhood Record Store, an interactive destination housed within the NMAAHC’s permanent “Musical Crossroads” exhibition that features record covers for individual browsing and a digital interactive station that links songs and artists to various genres, themes, regions, and time periods. The invitation-only reception at the NMAAHC, hosted by SiriusXM’s Joe Madison, will give members of the media, artists, historians, local government representatives and a few lucky sweepstakes winners an exclusive look at the collaboration between SiriusXM and the NMAAHC.
The SiriusXM Neighborhood Record Store unveiling follows the earlier announcement of the $2 million gift to the NMAAHC by SiriusXM Cares, the company’s charitable arm. The donation is part of the company’s contributions to organizations which promote and further social equality, education, hiring, and combat racial injustice.

FREEPORT, NY (06.23.22) – KENWOOD USA began shipping the STZ-RF200WD Integrated Dual Camera Recording System in December of 2021. Since that time motorcycle and motorsports enthusiasts have been utilizing this stealth solution to simultaneously record in both the front and rear of their vehicle in full HD 1920 and 1080 resolution.
Vik Moolchandani with the KENWOOD Motorsports display and product in the Avenue Sound Freeport NY store.
Avenue Sound, with stores in Freeport and Patchogue NY, quickly brought this new product into their inventory. Vik Moolchandani, for Avenue Sound related “The KENWOOD STZ-RF200WD was a product that was definitely needed in the marketplace. Soon after learning about the product we placed our order. I how have one installed on my Kawasaki bike and my Jet-Ski. Morris Hartman, from Big Daddy’s, let us know about the in-store product display for the STZ-RF200WD and we have one of the free-standing displays in both our stores. The displays draw attention to the product category.”
Moolchandani points to the KENWOOD Motorsports system camera mounted on the handles of his Kawasaki outside the store.
Continuing, Moolchandani stated, “These working displays are great for making product sales presentations and demos since the Kenwood STZ-RF200Wd motorsports action camera system is fully functional on the display. Kenwood had a program for the displays and we are happy we have the displays in our stores to drive sales.”
The KENWOOD USA motorsports-grade STZ-RF200WD Integrated Dual Camera Recording System has a MAP of $399.95.
Motorcycle and motorsports enthusiasts now have a stealth solution to simultaneously record in both the front and rear of their vehicle in FULL HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. The STZ-RF200WD consists of 2 externally-mounted cameras, a control switch, and a GPS antenna, all carrying an IP66/67 rating, meaning that they can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water and are fully sealed against dust entry. The “brain” of the system is an IP55 rated hide-a-way control box, meaning that it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. The control box would typically mount underneath a seat or in another covered location in most motorcycles, side-by-sides/UTV’s, ATV’s and more. When additional length beyond each camera’s 6.6 ft. cable is needed, optional camera extension cables in lengths of 3.3 ft. (STZ-RFCC100, MAP $34.95), 9 ft. (STZ-RFCC300, MAP $49.95), and 16 ft. (STZ-RFCC500, MAP $64.95) can be added.
The STZ-RF200WD’s compact cameras come in at just under 1” in size for ease of installation and a stealthy look, all without compromising recording quality or their wide viewing angle of 195°. High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology is implemented to ensure the image is clearly defined in all lighting conditions day and night. They also feature Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), which creates a smooth and clear video by reducing blurring caused by vibration.
With its Auto On/Off recording functionality, the STZ-RF200WD’s built-in GPS records speed, latitude, and longitude whenever the system is active. It’s also equipped with a 3-axis G-Sensor and adjustable sensitivity, which is designed to detect a collision and store that event in a dedicated folder. Its built-in Super Capacitor provides enough backup supply to ensure that even if the system’s power is lost, the recorded video file will save correctly and not become corrupted.
Users have two methods to access recorded videos. They can install the KENWOOD Motorsports CAM App on their iOS or Android device, then connect via a localized Wi-Fi network by pressing and holding the STZ-RF200WD’s control switch for 3 seconds and continuing to follow their device connection prompts. Once connected, this method enables users to visually adjust each camera’s field of view, adjust all system settings and review all recorded files. Upon reviewing, each file can be downloaded directly to the user’s device for easy file sharing. Alternatively, the included 32GB microSD card (upgradeable to 256GB) can be manually removed from the control box, allowing users to open the files from their PC or Mac using the KENWOOD Motorsports CAM viewer desktop software. This viewing software expands upon the app’s reviewing capabilities, including map data and speedometer display.
“From protection in case of insurance fraud to capturing beautiful road, backroad, and water scenery, motorcycle and motorsports enthusiasts have long demanded a high-quality dashboard camera-type recording solution. This product is more than just safety, it allows you to capture and share your epic adventures with your friends and family,” said Mike Roberts, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for KENWOOD USA’s car electronics sector. “Our team of engineers has truly delivered on this challenge and we are thrilled to be continuing to fulfill our mission of expanding our motorsports presence.”
