2024 SEMA Show Registration Now Open

DIAMOND BAR, CA (05.02.24) – Registration for the 2024 SEMA Show is now open at www.semashow.com/register. Taking place Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the 2024 SEMA Show will reveal the future of the aftermarket as attendees connect with thousands of leading manufacturers showcasing the latest products, trends, and technology in the industry.

Enthusiasm for this year’s SEMA Show continues to build as representatives from more than 2,000 companies prepare to select their exhibit space during Priority Space Selection, April 29-May 15. The weeks-long selection process will lay the foundation for this year’s floorplan, which will encompass millions of square feet of displays throughout the entire Las Vegas Convention Center and surrounding parking lots.

“The SEMA Show is always a reflection of the marketplace we serve,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA Vice President of Events. “The strong enthusiasm already being shown for the 2024 Show is a great illustration of the industry’s relentless drive to innovate. Our goal is to amplify this energy by creating a platform for attendees to connect with industry leaders, network with thousands of qualified professionals, and take their business and career to the next level.”

In addition to seeing the latest trends and technology on the Show floor, the 2024 SEMA Show will feature the world’s largest display of new automotive aftermarket products at the New Products Showcase, the latest builds, new areas dedicated to the future of EV and propulsion, and world-class education tracks and seminars that give attendees a best-in-class professional development experience. Unique events and activations such as the SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast, the Industry Banquet, vehicle demonstrations, and SEMA Fest, a celebration of music and car culture, will provide ample opportunities for the industry to unite.

“The SEMA Show campus will look a little different this year as the Las Vegas Convention Center’s $600 million renovation project is underway, but we have worked closely with LVCC management to have the full facility available come Show time,” said Andy Tompkins, SEMA Trade Show Director. “Every hall will be filled with the best brands in the business, giving attendees an unmatched event experience with access to industry leaders and innovators and insight into new automotive technology and products. Show goers will also enjoy an expanded LVCC Loop, with new service to the Encore, Wynn, and Westgate, making it easier to access the SEMA Show from several major hotels.”

Attendees can maximize their ROI by registering early and taking advantage of housing and travel discounts. Registration is only $40 for qualified attendees who register by June 28. Deadlines and fees for other registration categories can be found at www.semashow.com/register. Hotel reservations, including for several new properties in Las Vegas, are available at the guaranteed lowest rates exclusively for Show attendees through SEMA’s official hotel provider, onPeak.

Jeep Beach Takes On More Car Audio Interest

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (05.01.24) – The Annual Jeep Beach Event in Daytona Beach last weekend has set new records in attendance. This City-Wide event spans nine days with sub-events throughout the county; featuring camping, trail rides, beach parade, a poker run, and so much more. The event culminates in a two-day extravaganza inside the Daytona International Speedway (DIS). With over 70,000 spectators in attendance, and over 5000 Jeeps parked in the infield, hundreds of vendors, including auto sound companies and their retailers, show to a plethora of consumers.

Soundcrafters set up a 3000 square-foot shop inside the speedway showcasing top brands and providing demos for attendees. Several installation bays of the NASCAR Garage were utilized to perform installations at the record sales event.

Soundcrafters, Daytona’s Car Audio Powerhouse, is deeply involved with the event. Soundcrafters Owner, Paul Papadeas coordinates the IASCA Team to perform a Jeep Soundoff and Lighting Competitions, AKA: Jeep Beats. This happens at the Wednesday Night Tailgate at DIS alongside the International Speedway Blvd., complete with a multitude of vendors, a show and shine, entertainment, and food court. The IASCA Team promotes the auto sound experience to this group of car audio neophytes.

Jeepers were lined up outside that Daytona International Speedway for a Jeep Soundoff and Lighting Competitions

In addition to coordinating the Soundoff, Soundcrafters sets up a 3000 sq ft shop inside the speedway and occupies several installation bays of the NASCAR garages to perform installations. “This year”, Papadeas states, “we hit record sales. The big deal for us was the new Rockford Fosgate Stage 5 Systems. We installed several of these, it was a no-brainer as we had both Gladiator and Wrangler set up for demonstrations; these systems are very impressive. Along with those, we stayed true to our protocol of designing great systems across the brands we sell. Speaking as the owner and producer of the Spring Break Nationals, the event that opened many consumer eyes to car audio, the auto sound industry should attend next year’s Jeep Beach event. There are several brands showing at the event, but not as many as there should be. Jeep Beach in Daytona is a huge opportunity for our industry to influence this “new wave” of consumers with the means to outfit their ‘toys’.

Jeepers filled the competition lanes with their customized Jeeps.

Atlantic Car Stereo Takes The In-Store Experience To The Next Level

Six members of their team traveled 1100 miles from from Halifax to Toronto for the 3-day Expo. When checking out their Instagram post it became apparent they have taken the in-store experience to the next level.

The new 40th Anniversary door graphic was hand-painted last week.
The previous door graphic drove the remote start business in the fall of 2023.

Periodically, the full graphic on the store door is changed. The newest graphic celebrates the company”s 40th Anniversary. The previous graphic brought attention to the remote starter season.

Once inside the store consumers are greeted with a tremendous layout in the showroom and other adjacent areas. Recent showroom additions have included a number of large monitors which can be changed digitally to showcase different graphics and specials.

Once entering the lane leads customers to the sales counter.
The Audio Zone features demo display boards.

Each area of the store, including the installation area, is spotless. Even the parking lot in the shopping center is maintained daily.

The Atlantic Car Stereo team that travel to Toronto included owners Sarah and Darrell Russell, owners, Trevor Horning-Shop Manager, Amy Bowler-Sales, Chris Francis- Sales and Cullen Courtney-Installation Tech.

Many aftermarket products are displayed in this area.
This area is straight, neat and organized.

Sarah related “Our team thoroughly enjoyed all parts of the CMA Expo…the networking, the training, the parties and the demo vehicles. We closed the store for the trip and had very detailed plans that each member of our team would do to maximize our investment. We learned a lot of information that will help us better serve our customers. The DSP training, Sales training and hands on fabrication were our favorites. Vehicles are becoming more complicated as even base models are equipped with technologies, such as ANC, so having the skills and tools do our job is a must.”

The fabrication area is well organized.
The Atlantic Car Stereo team members got Rockford Fosgate tattoos on site from an artist arranged by Automobility at the CMA Expo.

Sarah’s Father Dan Scott MacLean opened the store in 1984. Sarah has been in the 12volt industry since 1997 and with Darrell owner since 2020.

Concluding "The CMA team of Frank, Ben and crew along with all the distributors and vendors on site did a great job for the mobile electronics industry across Canada. Atlantic Car Stereo thanks all and we look forward to the CMA Expo in 2025.”
