PIGEON FORGE, TN (08.30.24) – The Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Club Invasion took place at the LaConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN from Thursday, August 22nd to Saturday, August 24th. This was the third time that Alpine attended the event offering the latest dash and audio solutions designed specifically for the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator drivers.
“We had a very successful event at the 2024 Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Club Invasion once again due to our strong relationship with Tampa-based Alpine authorized retailer Soundwaves Tampa and Alpine authorized fulfillment partner, DOW Technologies” Allison Saunders, Marketing Supervisor Brand, stated.
The Alpine presence was strong with displays, demo vehicles and on-site installations.
Alpine products stacked early in the day for installations scheduled for the day.
Continuing, “While we were setting up for the event on Wednesday, we already had customers coming to our booth, asking to purchase a product so they could be first install on Thursday morning. From the start on Thursday, until the end of the event on Saturday, there was never a moment that our installation bays were not full. Our amazing Soundwaves of Tampa has it down to a science now The Soundwaves of Tampa Team deeply understand Alpine Jeep products, the Jeep itself and the needs of the Jeep customer. They went above and beyond to assure that every customer drove away with a smile on their face.”

The amazing Alpine “Switchback” 2020 Jeep Gladiator showcased a custom truck bed build that featured 40 motorized Bluetooth speakers that activated for optimum sound positioning.
A 2018 Jeep Wrangler demo vehicle was on site featuring the i509-WRA-JL with a 9-inch weather-resistant digital media receiver with Hi-Res audio playback. This unit was intentionally designed with a Jeep driver in mind to visually emulate the design identity of the Jeep interior and retain the features Jeep drivers use the most.
Alpine’s 2015 Jeep Wrangler was also on site with similar Jeep specific solutions designed for the older Jeep wranglers. The Alpine show vehicle “Switchback” is a 2020 Jeep Gladiator that showcased a custom truck bed build that featured 40 motorized Bluetooth speakers that articulated for optimum sound positioning.

NEW YORK, NY (08.30.24) – SiriusXM unveiled a new lineup for the 2024 season of the exclusive show, “Let’s Go!” Throughout the upcoming NFL season listeners will hear from hosts six-time Super Bowl Champion head coach Bill Belichick, three-time Pro Bowl Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby, and three-time National Sportswriter of the Year Peter King, as they join Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Gray for weekly in-depth conversations on pro football.
New episodes of “Let’s Go!” will debut every Monday at 6 pm ET/3 pm PT on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio (channel 82) and replay at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT on SiriusXM NFL Radio (channel 88). “Let’s Go!” will be available on all major podcast platforms, with additional bonus content from Belichick, Crosby, King and Gray available only on the SiriusXM app. The new season begins this Monday, September 2.

DIAMOND BAR, CA (08.29.24) – SEMA Battle of the Builders presented by Mothers Polish, the industry’s premier vehicle competition, will feature an expanded Young Guns program this year that will provide the Top 10 finalists in the class the opportunity to experience showcasing their builds on-stage.
Prior to this year, industry experts serving as judges would determine the Top 10 and Top 3 finalists in each class, including Young Guns. Now, after the Top 10 Young Guns finalists are named, each will showcase their vehicle on-stage, and the finalists will vote to select the Top 3 builds that will advance to the final round of judging with finalists from the other Battle of the Builder categories.
“We’re continually looking for ways to support young talent and foster the future growth of the automotive aftermarket industry,” SEMA Vice President of Marketing RJ de Vera. “By expanding the Battle of the Builders competition format to provide Young Guns competitors their own on-stage judging round, we will shine a light on more of these young customizers.”
The Young Guns category, open to builders 29 years and younger at the time of the SEMA Show, was introduced in 2016 to bring national exposure to up-and-coming builders in the industry. Additionally, beginning Sept. 7-8 and continuing throughout the month, Young Guns competitors can be selected by the judges to participate in one or more virtual Golden Ticket events for the chance to win a prize package that includes transportation of their build to the SEMA Show along with travel and hotel accommodations.
Now in its 11th year, SEMA Battle of the Builders provides an international platform for SEMA Show builders to showcase their ingenuity. The competition recognizes class champions in four categories — Hot Rod & Hot Rod Truck; 4 Wheel Drive & Off-Road; Sport Compact, Import Performance, Luxury & Exotic; and Young Guns — and one of these four is crowned the overall Battle of the Builders champion.
Judges review all qualifying applications, including vehicle descriptions and photos, before walking the SEMA Show floor to review builds in-person and selecting the Top 10 finalists in each category. The finalists are then narrowed down to the Top 3 in each category, including the Top 3 Young Guns selected via the new competition format, and these 12 finalists become the judges and select the winner of each category and the overall champion.
