MONTREAL, QC (11.4.26) – AutoMobility Distribution Inc. is rolling out the biggest MYCAR2 app update to date, and the timing couldn’t be better. With remote start season in full swing, MYCAR2 users are getting new ways to control their vehicles, a completely redesigned dashcam experience and a host of improvements that make life easier for the installers who set it all up.
The headline feature brings MYCAR2 right to the phone’s home and Lock Screens. New home screen widgets put remote start, stop, lock and unlock one tap away, along with engine, door, battery and temperature status at a glance. On iPhone, an active remote start now appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with a live runtime countdown, so drivers can watch their car warm up without opening the app.
For drivers using MYCAR2 with the Thinkware F790AIR dashcam, the update delivers a fully redesigned recording experience. Users can choose which events are recorded and uploaded automatically, filter clips by type and status, view front and rear footage separately, and see exactly where each event happened on a map. Custom alerts and an on-demand Instant View button round out the package.
