VAIS Technology has released new satellite radio integrated solutions specifically designed for 2023 AUDI models. This solution allows owners of these 2023 models to add SiriusXM® satellite radio to their existing factory stereo, without compromising functionality.

The new kits provide coverage for new Mazda models equipped with Sync 4 Radios. Also, all these models are compatible with the GSR-UV01 (universal unit) which can be flashed using online software. This adapter connects directly to the original factory radio and allows the vehicle owner to listen to satellite radio through the existing factory system. SANFORD, ME (07.15.2021) – Monday, January 4th, marked a ‘soft opening’ of the new Sanford Sound store in Sanford, ME. “We had a remarkably good day with people in the store and making sales. We still have a lot to do but all is coming together and we are excited,” Owner Jack Bogard related.

The new Sanford Sound location totals 8,000 square feet with a 2 level layout. The ground floor features showroom areas for Car and Home Audio, meeting room, office space plus customer waiting room and break area. The full basement area is set up for a large installation bay area, extensive fabrication shop plus large storage areas. Floors on both levels were steam cleaned and resurfaced.

In the showroom area there are raised areas to spotlight demo vehicles. The Sanford Sound RZR 900 is spotlighted and decked with Memphis Audio. “Since acquiring the RZR 900 as a demo vehicle our Powersports sales increased at least three fold. Another favorite is the Classic Sanford Sound Gremlin,” Bogard stated.

In a Facebook post Bogard thanked the many people who helped make the new location a reality. “I sincerely want to thank my incredible employees Andrew, Kevin, Matt and Nate. Also the almost endless volunteers that came to help. SEER is designed, engineered, and brought to life by VAIS to trigger any factory or aftermarket electronics based on driver proximity or events. Compatible virtually with any vehicle SEER is a great add on for cars, trucks, RVs, fleet, 1^st responders, and muscle cars. Once professionally installed SEER can trigger up to 10 outputs to turn the lights on and off, lock / unlock doors, lower the running boards, chirp horn, and power any other electronic accessory by approaching and exiting a certain perimeter around the vehicle. Additionally, you can trigger the outputs by 8 inputs also available on the unit.

SEER can be fully customized by the dealer using an online software tool designed by VAIS and flash the unit via a smartphone app. Dealers that choose to customize SEER can set up different proximity levels to trigger accessories, specify input and output signal types, introduce delays and timers.

“The technology behind SEER allows a user to be recognized as far as 13-15 feet away from the vehicle. The recognition zone plus customization tool is what make this product so versatile and available for multiple markets,” stated Hopper.

SEER can also be used along with industry popular CAN BUS integration modules to simplify the installation or disarm factory security for newer vehicles. VAIS is working closely with iDatalink and will carry ALCA modules in stock to bundle with SEER.
