The KICKER AMA ArenaCross 2023 Series Rolled Into the Tulsa Square Expo Pavilion

TULSA, OK (03.13.23) – The KICKER AMA ArenaCross 14-City Series rolled into the Tulsa Square Expo Pavilion on Friday March 10th. Expert Customs, a strong KICKER dealer in Tulsa, was in the house with a 3 member team. Owner Chester West, Deuce Carlson and Zach Johnson connected with attendees throughout the evening.

The track was very busy as the Pit Party got the Tulsa AMA KICKER ArenaCross off to a fast start.

“It was terrific to have the Expert Customs crew at the event and under the KICKER tent in the lobby. They really know their stuff when it comes to custom installations. It was also very good to work with Brad Ganz at the event. Brad is the KICKER Central Regional Sales Manager and it’s great to see him on the road following a serious accident on the bike trails” Lorin Morrell, who orchestrates the KICKER AMA Arenacross Series events, related.

The KICKER tent was in the lobby area and virtually everyone attending the event had to pass by and see the selection of products displayed on the tables.

A very busy Pit Party got the action started very shortly after the doors opened. Attendees walked the track and had an opportunity to meet the riders and check out the motorcycles they would be riding around the track and flying high over the mounds. As soon as riders left the starting gate the track was red hot as riders and attendees were Livin’ Loud.

“This was such a great event. Deuce, Zach and I talked with so many people, handed out all the KICKER lanyards and 150 of our stickers plus handed out nearly all of the 500 business cards we brought for the evening. Several of the people we talked with plan to come to the store next week to pick out a system for their rides.”

Continuing “I also walked the track during the pit party with my youngster. That was so much fun for us and we talked with other attendees and riders. Everyone was just so excited to be at the event. A very big Thank You to all at Kicker.”

Morrell added “In addition to the action on the track wrapped KICKER T-shirts were tossed into the crowd during race breaks and track maintenance periods. A special KICKER T had a certificate wrapped inside for a KICKER BullFrog prize to be picked up at the KICKER display in the lobby. The crowd member who caught the KICKER T with the certificate came to the booth to the booth and picked up his Bullfrog prize. His son was so happy holding the KICKER Bullfrog he could not stop jumping up and down.”

Crowd members also participated in flag-waving sessions as Wes Kain was on the PA system exciting members of the crowd to wave checkered flags for a chance to win KICKER Lifestyle products. All the winners smiled with Kicker prizes in their hands.

The next stop on the 2023 AMA KICKER ArenaCross 14-City Series is in Salem VA on Friday, March 17th.

AMARILLO, TX (03.10.23) – The KICKER AMA Arenacross was Livin’Loud in the Amarillo National Center of Friday March 3rd. Local KICKER retailer Tunes and Tint was in the lobby under the KICKER tent with a crew of five along with Lorin Morrell and KICKER Central Region Sales Manager Brad Ganz. Morrell orchestrates the KICKER AMA Arenacross events on the 14-City 2023 Series.

Continuing “The PowerBar demo was Livin’Loud. We talked with old customers from our Amarillo plus many new people who came to the booth. We set up several appointments for the store following the event for KICKER product installs and tint jobs. In the week following the Arenacross we definitely wrote substantial business…all from the Arenacross. I BIG Thank You to all at KICKER.”

AMARILLO, TX (03.06.23) – The KICKER AMA ArenaCross 14-City Series rolled into the 10,000 seat Amarillo National Center on Friday March 3rd. Tunes and Tint, a strong KICKER dealer in Amarillo, was in the house with a 5 member team.

“It was terrific to have the Tunes and Tint crew at the event and under the KICKER tent in the lobby. It was also terrific, and a big surprise, when Brad Ganz arrived at the event. Brad is the KICKER Central Regional Sales Manager and is on the mend from a very serious accident on the mountain bike trail and his travel have been very limited” Lorin Morrell, who orchestrates the KICKER AMA Arenacross Series events, related.

Brad Ganz offered “The event went very well. It was indeed wondrerful to have the staff from Tunes and Tint at the event. They were able to book a few appointments for KICKER installs and tint for this next week. They were all so very excited and they can not wait to do an event like this again in the future with KICKER. It was so much fun watching Stacy hand out KICKER lanyards and Koozies. She was just so enthusiastic and cleaver about it. She was able to get so many people to come up to the booth and ask questions about KICKER along with Tunes and Tint.”

“Powersports, trucks and marine are strong categories in the area..so the KICKER PowerBar grabbed attention. I talked with one fellow, who had a Soundbar from another brand, and he was so amazed at how much better the KICKER PowerBar sounded than what he has when I cranked it up” Morrell related.

KICKER Returned to the Lone Star Throwdown with XRV and Award-Winning Rides

CONROE, TX (02.28.23) – KICKER was on site in Conroe and sponsored the Lone Star Throwdown (LST) for the sixth straight year, with its 83-foot rolling showroom – the XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle). The XRV displayed the complete line of KICKER audio gear and houses the “Boom Room” with an entire wall full of 15-inch, Solo-Baric L7S subwoofers and 40,000 watts. The show was held Feb. 24-26 at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe, Texas.

KICKER conducted two consumer contests simultaneously during the show as part of the brand’s marketing plan. One included a 1,200-watt bass package giveaway consisting of a pair of CompRT 10-inch subwoofers with a 1,200-watt mono amplifier. KICKER also also partner with MTI Acoustics to give away a pair of MTI’s new universal sub enclosures with new KICKER Competition Gold™ subwoofers pre-installed.

Three demo vehicles accompanied the XRV – all loaded with KICKER gear. KICKER’s Special Projects manager Tim Smith showed his custom 1994 Chevy C1500, which included a KICKER KEY200.4 Smart Amplifier, KS midranges and the KSMT “Snowman” pods for the front stage. A pair of Solo-Baric L7T thin square subwoofers delivered the bass. In addition to the C1500, a 2002 Lightning and 1956 Chevy wagon were parked under the XRV’s awning.

Many on site registered for contests to win gear so their rides could be Livin’Loud with KICKER.

More than 2,000 show cars were pre-registered, and LST officials reported attendance exceeded 15,000 people. Top 100 and best-of-show awards were presented, along with several cash prizes.

The AMA KICKER Arenacross 2023 Was Livin’ Loud in Hobbs, NM

HOBBS, NM (02.27.22) – The AMA KICKER Arenacross 14-City 2023 Series raced into the Lea Country Event Center in Hobbs NM on Friday, February 24th. KICKER showcased products in the lobby and racers were flying high on the track for an enthusiastic crowd.

Continuing Morrell related “The new pre-race Pit Party once again attracted attendees to arrive early for the event. We had a special guest arrive for the Pit Party. Bobby Crawford from JD Glassworks in Lubbock TX made the 100 mile trip with his girlfriend Kalya Gamez. They were VIP guests and joined crowd members for the Pit Party walking the track, meeting riders and checking out their rides.

Crawford offered “We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to attend a KICKER Arenacross event that was so close to Lubbock. The drive was just over 100 miles. The event was terrific. There was so much excitement in the stands and Lorin welcomed us with VIP treatment. We made it back to Lubbock at a reasonable hour and I was back at the store Saturday afternoon.” JD Glassworks is a longtime Top KICKER dealer and specializes in ultra custom work in the Lubbock marketplace.

Once the racing began riders were flying high over the mounds and navigating the tight turns on the track through the race segments. During breaks between races Wes Kain was on the PA mic encouraging crowd members to wave their checkered flags. As a special offer Kain awarded KICKER Personal Audio headphones to the best flag wavers.

During the breaks in racing there were also KICKER T-Shirt tosses. Inside on wrapped T-Shirt there was a certificate for a KICKER Bullfrog. As the evening concluded the lucky crowd member brought the certificate to the KICKER display in the lobby and picked up his Bullfrog prize.

Off-roading and outdoor activities are very big in this part of the U.S. The KICKER PowerBar grabbed attention along with truck and marine products under the KICKER tent. The KICKER brand is well known in the area and several visitors at the display mentioned they had been running KICKER products for years in their rides.

DENVER, CO (02.13.23) – The KICKER AMA ArenaCross 14-City Series raced into the National Western Complex in Denver on Friday, February 10th. The Complex seats 4700 in fixed seats and the riders were racing and flying high to an enthusiastic crowd.

“The KICKER displays setup in the lobby area attracted enthusiasts throughout the evening. The KICKER tent displays actually overlooked the arena. Mike Brown, MB Customs 303 owner, was in the booth. Brown is a motorcycle enthusiast and answered many questions from Harley owners about adding KICKER to their bikes. Brown anticipated he would be busy the week after the event as he was after the 2022 event” Lorin Morrell, Maddog_Media who orchestrates KICKER’s presents at the events, stated.

“I think we were busier this year than last year in the KICKER booth. This year I rolled in some of our custom enclosures, loaded with KICKER subs, to show our work to attendees. The red boxes definitely drew attention and compliments. We passed out KICKER lanyards and business cards and anticipate seeing several of those people in our store in a few days. It’s great to be associated with KICKER at the Arenacross events.” Mike Brown related.

Continuing Morrell offered “The new pre-race Pit Party again was very popular with attendees and got them into the Complex Center early. They met with racers and that set the stage for the racer’s introduction before the racing began. When the racing began the racers were flying so high fans in the stands were actually looking up to see them flying high over the mounds. The 2023 Series is definitely Livin’Loud.

Off-roading and outdoor activities are very big in this part of the US. The KICKER PowerBar really grabbed the attention of Powersports members of the crowd…also the marine towers as the boating season is around the corner. The BullFrog was a product most had not seen and they were amazed at the sound. The KICKER brand is well known throughout the Rockies and some who stopped by the KICKER booth mentioned they were Livin’ Loud with KICKER in their rides and were very impressed with the new under rear seat pickup truck enclosures.

KICKER Brings Innovation and Education to Las Vegas KnowledgeFest

STILLWATER, OK (02.01.23) – Audio integration will be the focus of KICKER trainings at MEA KnowledgeFest Las Vegas, February 3-5 at the Paris Hotel and Convention Center.

The first class is scheduled for Friday at 1:45 pm in Champagne 3, followed by a Saturday class at 5:30 pm in Champagne 4. Attendees will also have a chance to win a KICKER PowerBar™ soundbar or KICKER KEYLOC™ Smart Line-Out Converter.  KICKER’s Tech Force product-training staff will be joined by Joe Hobart, the brand’s Director of Electrical Engineering, to host two one-hour courses during the weekend. Both classes will focus on modern integration techniques, aimed at the quick identification of acoustic and electrical challenges installers face when adding an amplifier. The classes will also discuss what equipment is needed to diagnose the issue.
