Eleven Engineering SKAA-Enabled USB-C Transmitters Now Apple Compatible

EDMONTON, CANADA (11.06.23) – Once again, Eleven Engineering, Inc. is making waves once again with the recent announcement that Apple is now finally converting to the USB-C connector standard, thus making new Apple products SKAA-compatible, as well.

“Our SKAA-Enabled Cassandra transmitter with USB-C connector was launched nearly six years ago, and Apple is finally catching up,” explained Rex Whitehead, Eleven Engineering executive vice president, sales & marketing. “We read the tea leaves back in 2017 as the industry was beginning to migrate from micro USB to USB-C, and our Cassandra transmitter was our first with a USB-C connector that embraced that new trend. Ideal for charging and transmitting data more effectively and quicker than micro USB, Cassandra has set the benchmark for the new desired and practical connector ever since. Now, SKAA is the ideal choice for all phones, tablets, and laptops which utilize a USB-C port, including Apple products.”

USB-C has become recently popular over the past few years for a number of reasons, both functional and practical:
• First, it is reversible, meaning no more frustrating moments since you don’t have to turn the connector and/or cable around in order to plug it into the device…no more USB superposition.
• Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, USB-C also brings higher speed and power advantages to your fingertips.

Additional Cassandra feature and specifications include:
• Sends audio to up to four receivers
• Works with all apps
• Use up to five transmitters in the same area
• No pairing
• 15 meters (50 feet) indoor range
• Low latency
• Works with SKAA cmd (optional app)
• Ships with SKAA OS 2.4, works with all receivers running SKAA OS 2.1 or newer (if you’re not sure what version you have, go to TLC, send us a note and just ask)
• Free Shipping

“SKAA’s USB-C transmitter ensures seamless connectivity, bringing a new level of audio excellence to your iPhone experience,” Whitehead continued. “Say hello to high-fidelity, low-latency sound!”

SKAA is the wireless HiFi audio standard developed by Eleven Engineering, Inc. SKAA transmitters work with iOS & Android mobile devices, Mac & Windows computers, televisions, and just about any product with a line output or a headphone jack. SKAA is also available as a built-in technology not requiring an external transmitter in purpose-designed partner products, which are featured at SKAA.com. SKAA navigates hostile environments saturated in wireless traffic with best-in-class reliability. SKAA delivers uninterrupted audio with the highest sound quality to all speakers without the latency that is inherent in other wireless solutions.

With SKAA, the receivers (speakers / headphones) are in charge of selecting which transmitter to listen to. There’s no pairing.

“SKAA’s audio quality is always 480 kbps while Bluetooth’s is always lower and actually varies depending on environment and circumstances,” Whitehead said. “You can use up to five SKAA transmitters in your home at the same time. That’s up to 20 speakers or headphones.”

SKAA is ridiculously easy to use —all compatible products are ready to play right out of the box. “It’s also highly flexible, being compatible with a fantastic breadth of audio sources,” concluded Whitehead. “Plus, SKAA receivers can effortlessly switch from source to source. And don’t forget rock-solid reliability, great range, and CD-quality sound. SKAA.com is the source for all things SKAA.”

SKAA is available as a built-in technology not requiring an external transmitter in purpose-designed partner products. SKAA transmitters work with iOS & Android mobile devices, Mac & Windows computers, televisions, and just about any product with a line output or a headphone jack.

Eleven Engineering Names Ukrainian Refugee Families to Receive May 2023 Web Profits

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (06.16.23) – Eleven Engineering, Inc. (elevenengineering.com), a market leader in semiconductor products for wireless audio for professional, home theater, multi-room, portable, 12 Volt (car, truck, motorcycle, power sports, marine) and gaming applications, has announced the two Ukrainian refugee families that will receive the company’s May 2023 profits from its SKAAstore.com. For the second year in a row, the company is helping support Ukrainian families in dire need of assistance during the continued crisis with Russia who are actively working to protect their country.

“As this unnecessary war drags on, the team at SKAA made a commitment to once again support more families that have been affected by Putin’s war in Ukraine in 2023,” said John Sobota, Eleven Engineering CEO. “May 2023 was a record sales month for SKAAstore.com, which means we will provide even greater benefits where it is needed the most. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank our customers for stepping up and helping Eleven Engineering donate this much needed monetary aid, which is the equivalent of the costs for a year’s rent and other family necessities in hopes that the money helps ease any financial burdens on them while they endure and fight for their country’s freedom and independence.”

This year, Eleven Engineering is donating its May SKAAstore.com profits to the Prykhodko family, which consists of father Ruslan, mother Yuliia, and children Dmytro (16) and Daniil (10). The family was displaced by Russian missile bombardments close to home, and Ruslan lost his income since the war began while Yuliia works remotely as the only source of family income.

Also receiving this year’s monetary aid is the Petrunko family, who received Eleven Engineering’s donations last year, as well. The family of four also has first-hand experience with the horrors that come with war. Relocated a number of times since the war began, their home was damaged by shelling, they were forced to flee their occupied village near Kherson. Their escape was harrowing, but the family remained safe thanks to the heroic actions of the father, Viktor. Meanwhile the mother, Kristina, is a member of the Ukrainian armed forces, working every day to fight back against Putin’s onslaught.

“We salute both the Russian people who believe using their country’s military might to shell the homes of children is diabolical, as well as those who risk their lives to protest and resist Putin inside Russia,” Sobota continued. “We hope that our continued small gestures will help Ukrainian families persist with hope and determination as they continue in their noble causes. Thank you to those who fight the good fight.”

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, home to Eleven Engineering’s headquarters, has the largest Ukrainian population of any Canadian city. “And this fact really hits home for us,” Sobota said. “We still challenge other Canadian-based companies to consider stepping up and helping those in Ukraine and the refugees that have fled in any way that they can,” Sobota concluded. “We all need to help because that’s what Canadians do.”

Eleven Engineering invites everyone to share their first-hand stories of heroes from this conflict on its social media platforms.

Eleven Engineering to Donate May Web Profits to Ukraine Families

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (05.05.23) – Eleven Engineering, Inc. has announced that it will donate its May 2023 profits from its SKAAstore.com to help support Ukrainian families in dire need of assistance during the continued crisis with Russia who are actively working to protect their country.

Eleven Engineering added that SKAA’s donations will be the equivalent of the costs for a year’s rent and other family necessities in hopes that the money helps ease any monetary burdens on them while they fight for their country’s freedom and independence.

“Last year when the war was still new, we knew that we needed to do something about the needless humanitarian crisis caused by Russia’s unprovoked invasion and so we donated May’s SKAAstore.com profits to the Petrunko family, who has first-hand experience with the horrors that come with war,” said John Sobota, Eleven Engineering CEO. “As this unnecessary war drags on, the team at SKAA made a commitment to once again support more families that have been affected by Putin’s war in Ukraine.”

Eleven Engineering will announce the families who will be receiving this May’s donation in the coming month.

Eleven Engineering Donates May Profits to Ukraine Family

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA (07.18.22) – Eleven Engineering, Inc. (elevenengineering.com), a market leader in semiconductor products for wireless audio for professional, home theater, multi-room, portable, 12 Volt (car, truck, motorcycle, power sports, marine) and gaming applications, has announced that it has donated May 2022 profits from its Skaastore.com to help support a Ukraine family in dire need of assistance during the current crisis with Russia who are actively working to protect their country.

Eleven Engineering added that SKAA’s donation is equivalent of one year’s rent in hopes that the money helps ease any burden on them while they raise a family and fight for their country’s freedom and independence.

“We knew that we needed to do something about the needless humanitarian crisis caused by Russia’s unprovoked invasion, and so the team at SKAA made a commitment to support those affected by Putin’s war in Ukraine,” said John Sobota, Eleven Engineering CEO. “The anger and remorse we felt led us to donating a month’s profits to help ease the suffering of those directly in the line of fire. As a result, we heard about the Petrunko family, still inside Ukraine, made up of a husband and wife and their two young children. We are honored and humbled to be able to help them in their time of need while they literally fight for their freedom and future.”

The Petrunko family has first-hand experience with the horrors that come with war, but their story is familiar to many who live in Ukraine. Their home damaged by shelling, they were forced to flee their occupied village near Kherson. Their escape was harrowing, but the family remained safe thanks to the heroic actions of the father, Viktor. Sam Porter Joins Eleven Engineering as Operations Manager

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (05.19.22) – Eleven Engineering, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Sam Porter as Operations Manager.

“Sam’s unique and broad work experience lends the perfect balance of focus between systems management and wireless audio,” said Rex Whitehead, Eleven Engineering executive vice president, sales & marketing. “As operations manager, Sam will coordinate efforts and goals between our teams as well as provide valuable oversight on quality and consistency by diligently building and refining our systems and processes. We’re excited to welcome Sam to our fast-paced, innovation-driven team.”

After several years of study at the University of Alberta, majoring in Performance Arts, Sam left to pursue a wireless audio startup venture, whose products featured Eleven Engineering’s SKAA technology. Throughout the subsequent years, she has served in many roles including procurement, manufacturing management, quality control, supply chain management, and logistics.

“I like to dub myself as a ‘Swiss-Army Knife’ of operations as I am well equipped to solve complex problems in an efficient and effective manner,” said Porter. “Eleven Engineering has terrific teams in place and everyone is very goal oriented, and so I am looking forward to jumping in and helping solve everyday challenges and helping keep our teams functioning as best as possible.”

Eleven Engineering to Donate May Profits to Ukraine Support

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (05.10.22) – Eleven Engineering, Inc. has announced that it will donate its May 2022 profits from its Skaastore.com to help support Ukrainian refugees in dire need of assistance during the current crisis with Russia.

“May is a month to get angry and a month to do something about it,” said John Sobota, Eleven Engineering CEO. “We are heartbroken for the Ukrainian refugees fleeing to neighboring countries and those stuck in the warzone, as well as outraged by the needless humanitarian crisis caused by Russian’s unprovoked invasion. Putin’s a bully of the worst sort. He’s given orders to take Ukraine, even if that means killing civilians, and no one really even knows yet how many women and children have been displaced and killed already. He’s threatened all countries who would aid Ukraine with nuclear reprisal. But giving in to a bully never works…it just enables them and leads to even worse situations and outcomes.”

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, home to Eleven Engineering’s headquarters, has the largest Ukrainian population of any Canadian city. “And this fact really hits home for us,” Sobota said.

As a result, Eleven Engineering is not only pledging all SKAAstore profits for the month of May to go towards Ukraine support, it is also announcing a call-to-arms to other Canadian-based companies.

“What Eleven Engineering is doing here is a small thing, and Ukraine’s neighboring countries can also only do so much,” Sobota conceded. “So, Canadians need to pitch in as much as possible and that will make a difference. As a result, we’re challenging all Canadian companies to speak out and donate their profits in May, as well. Donate to where exactly? That’s up to them as we are still researching the best places to send the funds we’re raising this month and we’ll announce the donations’ destination(s) in June.”

As May rolls along, Eleven Engineering invites everyone to share their first-hand stories of heroes from this conflict on its social media platforms.

“We believe that most Russians would refuse to carry out the horrors of which Putin’s army has been ordered to do,” Sobota continued. “Most Russians refuse to become animals. We salute those inside Russia who risk their lives by openly protesting the war. We salute the Russian soldiers who’ve turned to fight for Ukraine, refusing to kill their Ukrainian brothers and their families to fulfill Putin’s agenda. These are real heroes.” #NotAllRussians

Sobota’s decision to donate profits and his call-to-action are based on these numerous factors, and more.

“We’re in the audio market in no small part because it’s as far away from war and violence as you can get,” Sobota explained. “But when something as horrible as this happens, plain and simple, it’s everyone’s responsibility to do something about it. We see heroes on television every day that are fighting back against this aggression, and we want to do something for those that have been displaced, or worse. That’s why we’re donating SKAAstore profits from May and working to encourage others to help in their own way through our social media channels.”
