STILLWATER, OK (09.08.2021) – KICKER has introduced Falcon Sales and Marketing as its new brand representative group in the U.S. Northwest. Falcon replaces longtime rep firm N&S Marketing, which had disbanded following the retirement of its principal.
“We always want somebody who is going to put KICKER first,” said Western Regional Sales Manager Tracy Focht. “They have the infrastructure we need and were ready to start working with us immediately. We are very excited to have (CEO) Dave (Gates) and his firm on board with KICKER.”
Falcon was chosen not only for its strong infrastructure, but for its founder David Gates. Gates has intimate knowledge of the brand, having been named a four-time KICKER Rep-of-the-Year during his tenure as a rep with N&S Marketing.

DIAMOND BAR, CA (05.28.2021) – Kyle Fickler of Driven Racing Oil has been elected chairman-elect and will help the SEMA Board of Directors lead the association over the next several years. Fickler fills the position held for the past two years by James Lawrence (Power Automedia), who will begin his term as chairman in July when Tim Martin (Aftermarket Advisors) concludes his term in that position.
Brian Reese (The Retrofit Source), Larry Montante (Keystone Automotive Operations), and Lindsay Hubley (Lodestone Events) were also voted onto the SEMA Board of Directors while Kim Pendergast (Magnuson Superchargers) and Steve Whipple (Jegs High Performance) were re-elected and will serve another term.

NEW YORK, NY (05.28.2021) – SiriusXM, the Official Satellite Radio Partner of INDYCAR, the sanctioning body for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, will offer nationwide coverage of the 105th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
SiriusXM listeners will have access to the live call of the race from Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday, May 30. Pre-race coverage begins at 11:00 am ET, with the green flag scheduled to start the race at approximately 12:45 pm ET, on SiriusXM INDYCAR Nation (SiriusXM channel 205) and NBC Sports Audio (SiriusXM channel 211). These channels are available on SiriusXM radios, on the SXM App, and at home with Amazon Alexa, the Google Assistant or however subscribers stream in their home or on the go.
From now through June 8, non-subscribers can get the SiriusXM INDYCAR Nation and NBC Sports Audio channels as part of the SiriusXM Listen Free Event. During this event, SiriusXM will feature a sampling of over 100 SiriusXM channels including ad-free music of every kind, plus sports, talk, news and entertainment available to non-subscribers on inactive SiriusXM radios in their car and on the SXM App, with no credit card required. The SiriusXM INDYCAR Nation and NBC Sports Audio channels will be available to these listeners only on the SXM App.
SiriusXM will be the co-title sponsor on two cars in the field for the Indy 500 – the No. 06 INDYCAR driven by three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves and the No. 60 of Jack Harvey, who had a top ten finish in last year’s Indy 500. Both drivers compete for Meyer Shank Racing. SiriusXM’s branding on both cars will promote the company’s Listen Free Event, alerting people they can “Listen Free” through June 8.

2004 series champion Tony Kanaan and Jack Arute will host a special Indy 500 preview edition of SiriusXM’s INDYCAR show, Brick by Brick, tonight (7:00-8:00 pm ET) on the NBC Sports Audio channel (SiriusXM channel 211). The show will replay multiple times, including prior to Sunday’s race broadcast. Andretti Autosport teammates James Hinchcliffe and Alexander Rossi host a new episode of their SiriusXM podcast, Off Track with Hinch & Rossi, this week. Hinchcliffe is a six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES race winner and finished 7th in last year’s Indy 500. Rossi, a seven-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES race winner, won the Indianapolis 500 in 2016 as the first American rookie to win at Indianapolis since 1928. Their podcast can be heard on the SXM App, Pandora and Stitcher, and it will air prior to Sunday’s race coverage on SiriusXM INDYCAR Nation (channel 205).

TULSA, OK (05.06.2021) – Code Zero Customs had a major presence at the recent Starbird Car Show in Tulsa. The event, the 57th Annual, was held in the Tulsa Expo Center April 30th thru May 2nd. This was the 5th year for Code Zero Customs to exhibit and the proactive Tulsa-based 12volt retailer was an event sponsor. As part of the event sponsorship there were 2500 VIP’s on the floor wearing branded Code Zero Customs lanyards.

Cody Landis, Code Zero Customs owner, related, “Being on site with a 20×40 booth at the Starbird Car Show is always a real branding opportunity for our company. Attendees are serious automotive enthusiasts and it is a great way to showcase our brand and products to the right audience. We had 3 vehicles on display in our booth. A tricked out Lexus 350, 2014 Chevy Silverado and ’59 Ford. Each vehicle showcased our custom work and put smiles on faces. By design we did not have any products for sale in the booth. The Lexus 350 featured AudioFrog products and the Silverado featured JL Audio gear.”

BOCA RATON, FL (04.13.2021) —Tint World Automotive Styling Centers, a leading window tinting and automotive accessory franchise, has added Kelly Wruck as director of franchise operations at their headquarters.
In her role, Wruck will serve as the point-of-contact for new owners. She will be responsible for onboarding new franchisees as well as take part in project management across multiple departments.

Wruck will help new owners set up their locations while also distributing information to the departments at the headquarters.
