The 12volt Spin-to-Win Wheel was created to bring an element of fun to the 12volt industry. The weekly 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel is now spinning in Year 5.

The 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel rolled for 238th time on Friday morning September 22nd. The Wheel landed on the Nakamichi space and the Unique Audio VA slip was drawn from the jar. An Instagram post of the winning slip was posted. A video of the wheel spin was also posted.

Endless Possibilities Hosted 2nd 2023 Alpine Experience

AURORA, IL (09.22.23) – Endless Possibilities Auto is a very proactive 12volt retailer who understands  the continuing value of connecting with consumers and enthusiasts. On Saturday September 15th Endless Possibilities hosted the company’s 2nd Alpine Experience event in 2023. Chris Reavis rolled an Alpine Jeep on site early in the day which was placed in front of the store.

Cesar Murango, Endless Possibilities Auto owner, related, “Again our store was a big winner. During the day traffic seemed to come in waves filling the showroom and in the installation bay area. From speakers, amps and head units our customers were making purchases… dash cam systems too. Having the Optim8 on display in the showroom also opened people’s eyes and definitely ears.

‘A little rain did not slow down people coming into Endless Possibilities for the Alpine Experience. The demos outside in the Jeep brought smiles to all in the passenger seat. Other vehicles on site with Alpine showed people even more possibilities. The showroom showcased Alpine products and specials for the day. Cesar and his team were prepared and it was a super day,” Reavis, Alpine Specialist, commented.

Endless Possibilities will be on-site this weekend at the SubieFest Midwest with Chris Reavis in a Subaru loaded with Alpine.

Like last year Endless Possibilities Auto will be on site at the upcoming SubieFest Midwest on September 24th at the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. Reavis will join the Endless Possibilities Team with a personal Subaru loaded with Alpine gear.

Terrific to see Alpine Experiences happening from coast-to-coast to drive store traffic for proactive 12volt retailers. Consumers can not feel the bass in their chest or experience the highs on their smartphone or laptop. In-store traffic drives sales.

Edward’s Audio Rumbled in Grand Island for the 10th Annual Downtown Event

GRAND ISLAND, NE (09.21.23) – Once again Edward’s Audio sponsored an event that drew a large crowd to downtown Grand Island. Three blocks in downtown were blocked off for 12volt and automotive enthusiasts to show off their rides for all who enjoyed their projects. This is a family friendly event and there was a bounce house for the kids, corn hole contest and food trucks. A SPL competition was also part of the day’s activities.

Larry Alverez related, “Once again we had a terrific event. Show cars. bikes and some UTVs lined the street in front of local shops downtown. Our store is on a corner and we were very busy throughout the day. Our JBL branded ‘Milk Truck’, loaded with JBL, was out front and drew a crowd, like a magnet, each time we cranked the volume. Chris Pace with Arrowhead Sales pulled in his JBL demo trailer and JL Audio reps were onsite with their Cadillac demo.”

The Edward’s Audio JBL ‘Milk Truck’ is actually a totally remodeled old school milk truck with an amazing paint job, custom cab interior with a custom listening room in the back. The audio system features 24 JBL woofers plus speakers.

Lafayette Custom Automotive Hosted an Alpine Status Event with the Alpine Experience Tundra

LAFAYETTE, LA (09.19.21) – Lafayette Custom Automotive was the place to be on Saturday September 16th as the company hosted an Alpine Status event. The Alpine Experience Tundra was under the Alpine tent in the parking lot along with more demo vehicles providing Alpine demos.

Owner Martin Branch and Shane Douet, along with the crew, had the showroom stacked with Alpine products and specials. The custom ‘No Bed Sled’ demo, with amazing graphics, draws customers like a magnet and gets customers taking.

Branch related, “Store traffic was strong and started when we opened the doors. The Alpine Tundra and tent along our busy street definitely got attention. Demos going on in the Tundra and other demos in our parking lot drew even more attention to the event. Alpine speakers and amps plus Status gear were sold during the day. An Alpine Bluetooth portable speaker was the prize and brought a smile to the winner’s face.”

Branch added, “Our customers also mentioned it was terrific to speak with Jimmy Chauffe and Dan Greenwood during the event. Having them on site and doing demos certainly adds to the event.”

Chauffe related, “The event got off to a fast start and we did more than 10 demos in the Tundra before noon. Consumers spent time in the showroom checking out the specials and listening to the unique “No Bed Sled.” This demo, decked out with Alpine, is a pickup with no bed. Having Dan Greenwood join us for the event worked out very well.”

KICKER Returned to the Sand Sports Super Show with an Army of UTVs

COSTA MESA, CA (09.18.23) – KICKER Performance Audio showcased an army of UTVs at the world’s biggest sand show – the Sand Sports Super Show. The Orange County (Calif.) Fair & Event Center hosted the colossal event September 15th-17th on the Center’s 150 acre grounds. KICKER’s area was booth 9008-LI, by the East entrance of the events grounds.

Several vehicles were featured in the KICKER booth, including the brand’s own audio-infused Polaris RZR, KICKER sales rep Murfco’s radical Can-Am X3, Gatorwraps’ Can-Am Defender, and California Sound’s (San Bernardino, Calif.) amazing Maverick R. KICKER also hosted multiple vehicles from Hoppe in the booth as well for a complete rolling force of KICKER-filled side-by-sides.

Jeremy Wynn, KICKER Events & Promotions Manager, related “It was another great year at the Sand Sports Super Show. Traffic in the booth was up from previous years, which resulted in a lot of good customer interactions.The temp was in the 70’s, although overcast, made the show days very enjoyable. I am extremely grateful for Hoppe joining us in the KICKER booth to show off our products along with theirs. Also, we thank our reps with Murfco for the sales support in the booth and getting us a few demo vehicles to show off and help fill the booth up with eye and ear candy. Overall, it was truly a great event as we continue to grow the KICKER brand in the Powersports community.”

“This was Hoppe’s first time out on the West Coast,” said Rachel Rodriguez, Hoppe’s Marketing Director. “We wanted attendees to pick our brains and hear what we’ve got to offer, but we were also pumped to engage with this side of the industry and its customers so we can better engineer our products around the ways they live and breathe off-road.”

The Alpine Experience Events Continued at WOW Electronics

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (09.14.23) – The Alpine Experience was positioned in front of the WOW Electronics location in Clinton Township MI early Saturday, September. Chris Reavis was behind the wheel of the Alpine Experience RAM. This Alpine Experience was a double doubleheader as Alpine’s Mike Schafer supported the event with his vehicle loaded with Alpine for demos.

JD Daniels and his team was prepared and ready to get the event started and showcase the Alpine Experience to enthusiasts in their marketplace.

“The Saturday Alpine Experience was definitely a much bigger day that a normal Saturday in terms of store traffic and sales. The Alpine RAM stayed busy with Chris doing demos. Having Mike Schafer on site with his SUV loaded with Alpine was a welcome addition as people could experience Alpine’s great sound in a rather normal setting. Alpine speakers, amps and subs were the hot items with sales during the day. We are still following with prospects days after the event” Daniels related.

Reavis commented “The event was very good with sales and traffic. As a result of Mike being on site with his vehicle an Optim8 was sold. JD was very happy with the event. In May of this year an Alpine Experience event at the WOW Electronics store in Eastpointe MI was also successful. We are talking about scheduling events in 2024 too.”

Brothers JD and Rick Daniels operate the two WOW Electronics locations.

Custom Audio Concepts Rocked Lima with a 3-Day Tent Sale

LIMA, OH (09.13.23) – The Custom Audio Concepts 3-Day Tent Sale took place Thursday through Saturday, September 7th thru 9th. The company’s store is located at a very busy intersection in Lima OH. A row of tents was positioned outside along with numerous tables stacked high with specials under tents for customers to check out. A 20’ tall Memphis Audio air dancer was waving on top of the store.

The stage was set early Thursday morning September 7th for the Tent Sale.

Mark Wallace, Custom Audio Concepts GM, who orchestrated the event offered, “We had a strong event. When others around may be slowing down we are moving forward. I have been in this industry for 25 years and seeing an event busy, busy… and making the register ring with strong sales, is the way it is supposed to be.”

Continuing, Wallace added “We sold a wide variety products. Memphis Audio was especially strong with subs and speakers… lots of bike products were also sold at the event. ATG Bluetooth speakers were lot too. We may have done in 3 days what some stores may do in a couple weeks.”

“There were 7 store staff members working the event. We promoted the event on Facebook and Instagram with targeted ads” Wallace concluded.

Custom Audio Concepts is owned by Nate Gast and sells home and car audio plus associated automotive aftermarket products.

KICKER Returns to the Sand Sports Super Show

STILLWATER, OK (09.12.23) – KICKERPerformance Audio will be showcasing an army of UTVs at the world’s biggest sand show – the Sand Sports Super Show. The Orange County (Calif.) Fair & Event Center hosts the colossal event September 15-17. KICKER’s area will be booth 9008-LI, by the East entrance of the events grounds.

Several vehicles will be featured in the KICKER booth, including the brand’s own audio-infused Polaris RZR, KICKER sales rep Murfco’s radical Can-Am X3, Gatorwraps’ Can-Am Defender, and California Sound’s (San Bernardino, Calif.) amazing Maverick R. KICKER will also host multiple vehicles from Hoppe in the booth as well for a complete rolling force of KICKER-filled side-by-sides.

“This will be Hoppe’s first time out on the West Coast,” said Rachel Rodriguez, Hoppe’s Marketing Director. “We want attendees to pick our brains and hear what we’ve got to offer, but we’re also pumped to engage with this side of the industry and its customers so we can better engineer our products around the ways they live and breathe off-road.”

KICKER’s powersports audio gear will also be featured in multiple booths around the show. Brands like SSV Works (booth 2035-GG) will have KICKER-equipped UTVs on hand, as well as Gatorwraps next door to the KICKER area. Several KICKER authorized dealers will show UTVs on-site, including UTV Stereo (Mesa, Ariz., booth 9101-LI), Temecula Motorsports (Murrieta, Calif., booth 1811), and Bert’s Mega Mall (Covina, Calif., in its pavilion).
