Jeff’s Custom Car Audio Wins the Python Prize On The 12volt Spin-To-Win 298

12VOLT CENTRAL STUDIOS (11.23.24) The 12volt Spin-to-Win Wheel was created to bring an element of fun to the 12volt industry. The weekly 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel is now spinning in Year 6.

The 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel rolled for the 298th time on Friday morning on November 22nd. The Wheel landed on the Python space and the Jeff’s Custom Car Audio slip was drawn from the jar. An Instagram post of the winning spin slip was posted. A video of the Wheel spin was also posted.

We spent time talking about the custom work his shop does and the super underseat truck boxes they make that are driving busy in the Dallas area and beyond.

David Speicher Joins SEMA as Chief Technology Officer

DIAMOND BAR, CA (11.21.24) – David Speicher has joined the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola. He will be based at the Association’s Diamond Bar, Calif., headquarters.

Speicher brings more than 20 years of experience developing and applying strategy to technology decision-making, focusing on process automation, system optimization, software development, and infrastructure design. He has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Senior Director of Information Systems, and Chief Systems Engineer.

Very exciting this year were two PowerBass retailers from the UK. Safe and Sound Essex came from across the pond with Lee Glover and his wife Julie. Kamal Sokhi from Kam ICE and his wife Navinder also travel from the UK to spend time in the PowerBass booth and make stops across the SEMA Show.

Safe and Sound recently made this social media post of their new van ready to hit the road in the UK.

Lee Glover offered “The SEMA Show for me was about building relationships with people we only talk to by message and emails. Not only to work, but socializing with them and having a great time with business partners at SEMA was terrific. We now consider them friends. We are looking forward to it a new expansion of our business and with PowerBass as well for 2025 and beyond. I can sum up the trip to SEMA in one word… UNBELIEVABLE!”

Kamal Sokhi of Kam ICE offered “The SEMA Show was an eye-opener, with all of the products and new innovation that the UK is missing currently. For us this was about not only building business relationships, but also making our friendship stronger with many that we have worked with for so long as well as forming new contacts along the way. I have to say the SEMA Show was very well organized and very well attended. We had a great trip to the USA! “

For those traveling from the UK to the US for the SEMA Show, it was quite an investment as round-trip. It was a 10-Day journey. It’s terrific to see all coming together to work to drive the 12volt industry globally.

SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz to Keynote CES on Audio’s Future

NEW YORK, NY (11.20.24) – The Consumer Technology Association has announced that SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz will deliver a keynote fireside chat at CES 2025. Witz will be joined by podcast host and audiochuck founder Ashley Flowers, to explore the evolution of audio and its future.

Witz joined SiriusXM in 2002 and has led the company since January 2021. Flowers’ show Crime Junkie reaches millions of listeners monthly. Both will also offer perspectives on challenges facing audio creators and solutions for driving innovation in the medium.
