Impact Tint and Audio Hosts Successful MOPARS and Ram Club Event

TYLER, TX (07.31.2020) – MOPARS of East Texas and Texas Ram Club were spotlighted during an event on Saturday, July 25th, hosted by Impact Tint and Audio. The company store’s lot on the Loop in Tyler was packed with nearly 40 vehicles from the clubs members. There were also vehicles parked in front of the adjacent business.

Graeme Wyatt, who operates the family business, related “We do a lot of work for members of both of these clubs. Since MOPARS of East Texas and Texas Ram Club members drive vehicles from the same “family” all thought it was a super idea to show together at the same event. My Mother and Father, along with my girlfriend, had a great day spending time checking out all the rides and taking with folks about what they could add to their rides.”

It was a family event and mothers and children spent time in the air conditioning of the showroom. A food truck was on site to offer treats and refreshments under a hot, sunny Texas summer sky.

Impact tent and audio fronts on the very busy loop in Tyler. All of the vehicles on the lot drew a tremendous amount of attention to this proactive 12volt retailer.

“During the day we made several sales and wrote a number of quotes for tint and lighting jobs. I do a lot of custom acrylic work with the the CNC in the shop and talked to several people about projects they had in mind” Wyatt added.

Inside the store families could stay cool their children while all of the action was going on outside.

During the day one of the store’s past customers related a story about a recent accident. The Impact Tint and Audio Team had installed a dash cam that captured an accident. Their customer was able to document the accident to show he was in the right.

“All of the people at our event are proud of their rides and have big investments. The story about how the dash cam came into play for our customer got a lot of attention” Wyatt added.

SCOSCHE Industries Announces Availability of New Extendo Telescoping Phone Mounts

OXNARD, CA (07.31.2020) – SCOSCHE Industries has announced the arrival of three new extended reach phone mounts for vehicle, home or office use.

First introduced at the 2020 International CES, the Extendo range of mounts have a telescoping arm that adjusts from just over 5 inches to just over 8.5 inches with 220-degrees of angle adjustment. They all have a 360-degree adjustable head that lets you view your device in portrait, landscape, or any position in between. Extendo has a StickGrip adhesive mount pad and suction-cup mount base that secures to any surface. Once the base is in place, you can extend and angle the mount to your perfect viewing angle and then use the lock-nuts to secure it.

KICKER Hosts Stillwater Cars and Coffee at World HQ

STILLWATER, OK (07.30.2020) – The Stillwater Cars and Coffee took place in the KICKER World HQ parking lot on Saturday, July 25th. Local enthusiasts, with over 100 vehicles on site, enjoyed the event under a sunny sky with July Oklahoma temperature in the mid 90s.

Kicker’s John Myers was instrumental in bring the event together. Myers related “It was certainly a fun day. Six or seven of us from KICKER were there and enjoyed meeting with many in the crowd.”

The event was a good old fashion car meet with cars, bikes and trucks on the lot. The monthly Stillwater Cars and Coffee event is typically a monthly event that is totally free for all to attend. A classic ’57 Chevy, classic Corvette convertible, decked out Hummer, along with a ACR Viper and hot bikes, grabbed the eyeballs of enthusiasts checking out rides on the huge parking lot by Boomer Lake.

The Studebaker brand has not been in production for decades.

“We passed out KICKER goodie bags with a catalog, stickers and a lanyard. There were also raffle drawings from local businesses like car detailing products” Myers added. Myers is KICKER Tech Force Senior Trainer.

New Dash Kit for 2005-2007 Dodge Dakota Now Shipping from Metra Electronics

HOLLY HILL, FL (07.30.2020) – Metra Electronics is now shipping a new radio replacement dashboard kit for 2005-2007 Dodge Dakota models. This kit is designed to fit ISO Double-DIN radio provisions and is painted a scratch-resistant matte black.

For this installation, the factory dashboard trim panel and sub-dash will have to be cut to allow the aftermarket radio to fit. A cutting template is included and the radio trim panel will cover the modification.

Premium Performance – Let’s Hear It

The CMSP premium marine coaxial speakers feature a bridge-mounted, edge-driven, silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet and ferrofluid cooling for outstanding high-frequency detail. Integrated within the woofer basket, away from the elements, is a second-order, high-pass tweeter filter. With the tweeter being suspend across the woofer cone, the woofer assembly is completely sealed from the front, to eliminate a common failure point of typical coaxial speakers. This design also creates more woofer cone surface area, which translates to better efficiency and output. The injection-molded woofer cone with purpose shaped center cap and marine-grade suspension components deliver low distortion and excellent midrange response. Available in 6.5-inch with, or without optional built-in RGB LED lighting or 7.7-inch, with built-in RGB LED lighting.

The CMSP series also includes a powerful 10-inch subwoofer optimized for infinite-baffle applications, thus not requiring a dedicated enclosure behind the subwoofer. The CMSP premium marine subwoofer feature a long-excursion design capable of high power-handling, to deliver impactful low frequency response with low distortion. Available in single four-ohm or single two-ohm voice coil models, for system design versatility, with built-in RGB LED lighting.

The CMSP series serves as an exciting evolution in Clarion Marine’s speaker design. Featuring a modern, hexa-parallel sport grille design with an elegant metallic accent, the new Clarion Marine CMSP speakers and subwoofers complement even the most luxurious boat models. The wait is over. JK jeepers now have the option to get loud on a level never heard before in their Jeeps with our JK door panel pods. This complete set covers all 4 doors, includes high performance midrange speakers and high range tweeters with glowing LEDs on all four. This package includes pods, speakers, tweeters, wiring kit, and our very own LED controller to get you setup with super loud sound and great looks.

 Included are four DS18 panels designed for one 6.5 midrange and 1 tweeter per panel. The speakers we selected for this combo are come of our best sounding waterproof speakers available, the Pro-SM6.2 series which retain all the pro audio characters you would expect but also has a waterproof face so it deflects any moisture that comes in contact with it. To complete the range of frequencies we also added the Pro-TW2L tweeter that also has bright RGB LEDS inside the clear housing so you can change the tweeters colors to any mood in color scheme you can imagine.
