Alpine Drew a Crowd at the 2024 X Takeover Show as the Official Audio Sponsor

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (07.29.24) – Alps Alpine North America, Inc. (“Alpine”) exhibited at the 2024 X Takeover Show at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, CA from Saturday, July 27 – Sunday, July 28 as the Official Audio Sponsor.

The Alpine booth centered on the Madonna Inn grounds in San Luis Obispo with other vendors. Out front there was a standup inviting attendees into the booth to scan a QR code and register to win Alpine Tesla system.

Alps Alpine North America, Inc. is the industry’s first manufacturer to offer a complete, plug-and-play audio upgrade for Tesla. At the 2024 X Takeover Alpine showcased to hundreds of Tesla owners the precise sound upgrade they could achieve with the Alpine system.

Alpine had a booth in the “The Fields” with a 2022 Tesla Model Y demonstrating the precision sound performance of the industry’s first complete sound system upgrade designed to fit the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

Throughout the event Tesla enthusiasts checked out the latest Alpine audio upgrades for their rides.
After the event wrapped on Sunday afternoon, and all the Teslas had left the site, the group working the event pause for quick image. (LtoR) Connie and Vince Miranda with Audio Xperts, Greg Douglas, Pete Bobsin, Allison Saunders and Christopher Sinh.

Each system included an 11-speaker (or 13, for factory premium audio systems) upgrade designed to easily replace the front, rear, and center dash Tesla factory speakers with Hi-Resolution certified speakers from Alpine’s “Blue Series” speaker line. The package also included a powerful 10” subwoofer and 12-Channel Premium Digital Sound Processor and ultra-efficient EV-optimized Amplifier tuned for the unique cabin environment for the Tesla.

X Takeover, formerly known as Tesla Takeover, is the world’s largest Tesla community event that features activities, influential speakers in the EV industry and over 60 exhibitors that sell unique accessories, services, and products for Tesla.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (07.29.24) – The Rifle Supply Mid Summer Bash 2 packed the center on Saturday July 27th in Huntington Beach. There were over two dozen vendors on site as attendees enjoyed food, music, prizes, raffles and checked out a number of gun supply products. POWERBASS was on site with Erik Harbour and Juan Quintana showing Bluetooth portables along with a custom XL-1250 SoundBar.

Erik Harbour, POWERBASS VP, related “Seems there is a lot of crossover with the Rifle Supply customer base and and 12volt enthusiasts. The Rifle Supply team members are friends and we participate with them at local events. Rifle Supply events have been great for allowing us to tap into a new customer base that enjoys time outdoors where portable Bluetooth speakers make a great addition to enjoy some tunes while slinging some lead or just hanging out with friends after a fun day at the range.”

Paul Rodriquez from Rifle Supply, created a work of art with a custom POWERBASS XL-1250 that will be installed in the bed of his custom Chevy truck. The XL-1250 was disassembled and Rifle Supply did the custom cerakote work on the grille to prepare the XL 1250 for installation in the bed of his truck.

Concluding Harbour offered “We Juan and I were busy throughout the event and the crowd was estimated at over 1000 people having fun all day. We also had opportunities to talk with attendees about music and gear they had in their rides or on their motorcycles. A great way to let consumers connect with the POWERBASS products and brand.”

12VOLT CENTRAL STUDIOS (07.29.24) – With the beginning of July 2024 the 12volt industry activities shifted into high gear. Proactive 12volt industry members utilized the 12voltSTP Tool to showcase their positive activities this past weekend.

Chris Pace rolled the Arrowhead JBL trailer into the parking lot in front of Sound Works in Fremont NE to support Johathan Schahrer and his special event. Sound Works celebrates 30 years in business and had a special 4-Day celebration with great in-store specials for consumers in the Fremont area July 25 thru 29th.

12VOLT CENTRAL STUDIOS (07.27.24) The 12volt Spin-to-Win Wheel was created to bring an element of fun to the 12volt industry. The weekly 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel is now spinning in Year 6.

The 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel rolled for the 281st time on Friday morning July 26th. The Wheel landed on the JVC space and the PCH Custom Audio LB slip was drawn from the jar. An Instagram post of the winning slip was posted. A video of the Wheel spin was also posted.

We reached out to the lucky winning retailer in Long Beach CA to let them know the news that a JVC prize will be headed their way. Anthony Chavez  answered the call and was very happy to hear the news. PCH Custom Audio LB makes social media posts to showcase their work to drive visibility and business to their store. Anthony had just completed a full JL Audio system on a golf cart and sent images.

New Partnership to Bring Car Audio to the 2025 Florida Int’t Audio Expo

TAMPA, FL (07.25.24) – Florida International Audio Expo is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership between three popular car audio entities—IASCA Worldwide, Florida Sound Quality, and SQOLOGY—to provide a car audio showcase that will include an invitational sound-quality competition, demonstrations, and seminars. The 2025 FIAE show will take place Friday–Sunday, February 21–23, 2025, at the Sheraton Tampa Brandon Hotel.

At the Steel Valley Regional in Wheeling WV plans to exhibit at the Florida International Audio Expo we finalized by 3 organizations. (LtoR) Klifton Kiplinger-SQOLOGY, Angie Landis-competitor in the Florida Sound Quality community and Bart Andeer with Florida Sound Quality who is organizing the event. Travis Chin-IASCA was not able to be  onsite.

Bart Andeer, FIAE’s Director of show operations, joined forces with Travis Chin, President of IASCA Worldwide; SQ Competitor and Florida Sound Quality community leader Angie Landis; and SQOLOGY podcast host and event promoter Klifton Keplinger, to announce the partnership at the well-attended Steel Valley Regional event, held July 19–21 in Wheeling, West Virginia.
