From the moment the doors opened, the energy and excitement could be felt throughout the venue. One of the exhibitors connecting with dealers across the Northeast was Windshield Skin, represented by Myra and Alan Bray, who traveled from the company’s headquarters in Sacramento, CA, to be on-site with a booth and live demos at the event. This was a return trip for Windshield Skin, having introduced their brand to the 12-volt industry at the GoFast Mobile Expo 2025 in May.
Miya Bray related, “The 12-volt industry is new for our brand, which offers windshield protection to prevent damage from obstacles on the road. Our on-site presence at the GoFast Mobile Expo was very productive. When Bob Hernandez let us know about the Winter Summit, we were certainly very quick to sign up.”
Industry statistics reveal that each year 14 million windshields are replaced in the U.S. due to damage or wear. With the average windshield replacement cost exceeding $1,000, the Windshield Skin product presents a strong opportunity for proactive 12-volt retailers. The company’s best seller is the Universal Kit, which includes a 48” x 70” windshield screen.
Bray continued, “Once again, participating in a GoFast event was very successful for our company. Our team’s hands-on demos of Windshield Skin being installed in the booth really opened a lot of dealers’ eyes. Proactive dealers saw that this category could provide new revenue opportunities with a very small investment. Bob Hernandez and the GoFast staff had everything well prepared for the Winter Summit, and all went very smoothly. We are looking forward to the 2026 Mobile Expo in the spring.”
