KENWOOD Expands Marine Audio Line with New LED-Lit Speakers

LONG BEACH, CA (09.19.25) – KENWOOD has announced the launch of its latest KENWOOD eXcelon Motorsports LED-illuminated marine speakers, designed to deliver powerful sound and bold style for boating enthusiasts. The new lineup offers both 6.5-inch and 7.7-inch models in cut-in and tower-style formats, with finishes available in classic white or sleek black.

New models include:

  • XM65WL / XM65BL — 6.5″ LED-lit cut-in/ infinite baffle, marine speakers (White / Black), 75W RMS
  • XM65TWL / XM65TBL — 6.5″ LED-lit tower speakers (White / Black), 75W RMS
  • XM77WL / XM77BL — 7.7″ LED-lit cut-in/ infinite baffle,  marine speakers (White / Black), 100W RMS
  • XM77TWL / XM77TBL — 7.7″ LED-lit tower speakers (White / Black), 100W RMS

Engineered for durability, all KENWOOD marine speakers are IPX6-rated water resistant, providing reliable performance against spray, splash, and weather. Each speaker features coated soft dome tweeters for crystal-clear highs and superior sound reproduction, even in challenging marine environments.

For versatility and secure installation, the 6.5-inch tower models include a rugged cast aluminum mount that swivels, designed to fit 1.5″–2″ round bars, while the 7.7-inch tower models feature mounts that accommodate tubing from 2.25″–3.35″.

Adding to the experience, the speakers integrate a 27-color LED lighting system with a wireless remote, allowing users to customize their setup. The system supports up to 12 daisy-chained speakers, creating a fully synchronized, immersive lighting display. Tower models include additional back-lighting for extra visual impact.
