Weather Does Not Hamper IASCA Multi Point Event At Surf City Soundoff And Over $18,000 Was Raised For Charity

EAST WENATCHEE, WA (09.05.24) – Over 100 competition vehicles and twice as many entries braved the rain on Saturday and Sunday to compete at the Surf City Soundoff at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon. Attendance was very strong among competitors and spectators and they were rewarded with clear and sunny skies Sunday afternoon.

There were 4 IdBL World Records set at the event. Along with IdBL and SQ (Sound Quality) competition, Niteglow lighting competition was held Saturday night and IdBL and IQC RC vehicle competitions were introduced. Dates for the 2025 event have already been set (August 23rd and 24th, 2025) and preparations have begun.

“$18,433 was raised for Angels Anonymous, a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the local community.” Said Travis Chin, President of IASCA. “Overall, the IASCA event at Surf City was once again a huge success.
