Lucas Lighting Raced Into Las Vegas For A Dream Racing Event And KnowledgeFest

LAS VEGAS NV (03.03.22) Lucas Lighting combined a 2021 Fourth Quarter Incentive Program and KnowledgeFest in Vegas to maximize time spent in Las Vegas for their business partners, industry members and the company.

Steve Rogers, Lucas Lighting National Sales Manager, related “As we thought of ways to finish 2021 on a high note and accelerate the beginning of 2022 we formalized a plan to return for another event at the Dream Racing Las Vegas Motor Speedway and scheduled it for the day before KnowledgeFest Vegas began its 3-Day run. The event at the track, Thursday February 17th, was once again a great time for all and the KnowledgeFest event was very productive as we showed new products and provided product trainings.”

At the Dream Racing event there were over 50 Lucas Lighting participants from top dealers, distributors and rep firms from across the U.S.

“Having done a Dream Racing event previously we knew of the paperwork and waivers that needed to be completed. We did that in the lobby of the South Point Hotel and Casino where many 12volt industry members were staying. Once that was done we had 3 busses and vehicles to take participants to the track about 15 miles away. Once at the track we followed the Dream Racing plan of a drivers training session, putting on the driving suit and selecting a helmet. Selecting which hot car to drive was another fun process” Rogers continued.

Over 50 participants were at the event including dealers, distributors and reps from across the U.S.

The schedule for the Dream Racing Day began at 12:30 with a welcome session followed by classroom training, photos with cars, discovery laps with a professional driver, the driving experience and the 7:30 closing ceremony that included champagne.

This ride at the track let everyone know they were in for a fast time.

Time on the 1.2 mile track included being behind the wheel of a Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes AMG GTR or Audi R8 at speeds up 200 kph. After the Speedway experience it was back to the hotel for much needed quiet time, dinner and rest as participants got ready for KnowledgeFest.

“On the KnowledgeFest event floor we had a 10×20 booth that showcased our latest products. There was a steady flow of attendees in our booth during the hours the show floor was open. In our booth we also showed some videos from people behind the wheel during their time on the track at the Dream Racing event. All in all Lucas Lighting had a super experience for those jam-packed 4 days in Vegas.
