ONTARIO, CA (06.15.2020) – The new Powerbass 2XL-DS Subwoofers have been completely redesigned with a new custom cast aluminum basket and the motor moved to the outside of the basket in a more standard style to allow for lower frequency response and increased power handling, providing audiophile sound quality at Xtreme sound levels.
Featuring a new NBR Nitrile Butadiene Rubber surround for increased linear accuracy and a proprietary Woven Glass Fiber Kraft Reinforced cone the 2XL series is built to perform. The custom cast aluminum basket provides perimeter venting to assist in cooling the newly redesigned 2.5” Black Kapton (BKSV) voice coil and inverted motor structure.
