The 12volt Spin-To-Win Wheel rolled for 159th time on Friday morning December 24th. The Wheel landed on the Silencer space and the Sound Proof Car Stereo slip was drawn from the jar. An Instagram post of the winning slip was posted. A video of the wheel spin was also posted.

We reached out to the dealer in Douglasville GA to give them the good news a Silencer remote start product would be headed their way. There was no answer at the store. On Monday, after the Christmas weekend, we spoke with Steven Burt at Sound Proof Car Stereo and he was happy to learn about the Silencer ‘Christmas Present’.

(Nov. 29, 2021) — Robert Matranga of Matranga Hot Rod fabricators took the top prize in the eighth-annual SEMA Battle of the Builders® competition on the final day of the 2021 SEMA Show, Friday, November 5. Now in its eighth year of competition, the SEMA Battle of the Builders competition is widely known as one of the elite platforms for builders to showcase their work and compete for the coveted top honor.

The 1955 Chevy aptly named ‘Brute Force’ beat out more than 240 in the internationally recognized competition that unfolded during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Every part of Brute Force has been scratch-built or heavily modified to reward viewers with a seemingly infinite number of details. Brute Force gets its name from the Mike LeFever-built 540ci Merlin engine that is topped with Arias hemi cylinder heads and force-fed by a pair of Garrett turbochargers through a custom-built Hogan intake. The 1,400 horsepower powerplant is detuned to a drivable 800 horsepower.

In addition to Matranga, the three finalists who round out the top four for 2021 included: Eddie Pettus with his 1061 Austin Healey Sprite (Sport Compact), Bryan Thompson with his 1934 Ford Pickup (Truck/Off-Road), and Young Gun Dayton Jacobson with his 2000 Chevrolet S10. Each builder brought their best builds to this year’s competition and were recognized with trophies in their respective classes.

The TE-MIPI from iBEAM is a small but impressive camera with a resolution of 800 TV lines.
This is a 55-degree fixed angled camera and the image can be mirrored or rotated for vertically
or horizontally mounted cameras placed on side-view mirrors, front or rear bumpers, or almost
any other location. It has an optional parking lines feature when used as a reverse camera or
can be independently triggered. A hole saw and wiring harness are included.

There is good news at Cicada Audio in Phoenix AZ. “It’s been a crazy month with containers coming into the warehouse. We definitely have a lot going on over here at Cicada Audio” company Founder Larry Frederick stated.
