Here’s a first look at the RHD Corvette E-Ray while testing outside of GMs Milford Proving Grounds.
Back in 2021, GM confirmed that they would offer the Z06 in right hand drive following the reveal of the C8 Corvette. The Z06 is expected to be offered in the UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other RHD markets. That being said, GM has been pretty quiet when it comes to the E-Ray, but our shots confirm that it will be available in the aforementioned markets.
The Corvette E-Ray is expected to mate the 6.2L V8 from the Stingray with a hybrid configuration, adding a new model to the Corvette family. Expect an official debut in early 2023 with an on-sale date in Q2 as a 2024 model.

MESA, AZ, November 28, 2022 — MSC America, distributor of high end car audio brands Brax, Helix, Match and BLAM announced today that Vernon’s Signature Audio from Lubbock, Tx attended a special training designed to increase their knowledge of the company’s DSP based products and how to use their proprietary tools.
Utilizing innovative training tools such as a Personal Tuning Station, consisting of a Helix DSP Mini connected to a pair of headphones, allowed each attendee to make adjustments via a laptop computer and hear the effect in real time. In comparison to simply being told about the effect of time alignment or reading about which crossover type to use, this method allows the attendee to actually hear the audible difference that each tuning decision makes, such as adjusting EQ bars up and down to hear how it changes the sound of an instrument.
After having a much clearer understanding of the function of the DSP tools, each attendee was able to put that knowledge to use in a real world situation, by tuning an actual vehicle, which technician Lazaro Cantu said was his favorite part of the training. Taking turns, each attendee walked through the step by step “Tuning for Profit” process developed by MSC to produce the best possible results, reliably and efficiently until they each felt comfortable enough to reproduce those same results in their customers’ cars.
Members of the Vernon’s Signature Audio crew from Lubbock TX are flanked by MSC team members in the Mesa AZ US headquarters.
“The goal of providing this level of personalized training,” said MSC Vice President Jason Digos “is to equip the dealers with not only the knowledge, but also the experience they need to start implementing the process as soon as they get home. Without hands-on experience, attendees often forget what they’ve learned before they get a chance to use it!”
After having spent years utilizing only some of the features available in Audiotec Fischer Digital Signal Processors, the team at Vernon’s Signature Audio said that on a scale of 1-10, their confidence in their tuning ability went from a 1 to an 8 because of the 1.5 days spent with MSC.
“I didn’t want to damage anything” Mike Martinez, a senior technician said of the reason why they would use only the basic features of the DSP before, “but now that I know we can simply undo any changes we make using the Time Machine tool, I am much more willing to experiment with all of the features of the DSP!”
When asked what was the first thing they were going to do with their newly acquired knowledge when they got back to work, their answers ranged from tuning their personal vehicle to taking on more responsibility in their installs and calling in previous customers for a fresh tune. But one thing that Co-owner Leon Winchester and the team from Vernon’s Signature Audio agreed on, was that this was the best training they’d ever been to, pointing them in the direction in which “the industry is heading.”
If you would like to visit the MSC America office for training, please call Jason or Matt at 480.372.2929 or email sales@msc-america.com.

Las Vegas, NV – (November 23, 2022) – Audiomobile is pleased to announce the initial deliveries of their latest ‘Advanced Technology’ car audio subwoofers – the Encore 44 Series. Over 3-years in development, new Encore series represents an “Industry First” product, as the first 1,000 watt, low-profile series of car audio subwoofers.
Featuring a totally new platform, the Encore builds upon the technologies of the original Elite series, but features an array of unique, innovative technical improvements, developed over the past several years, borrowing from proven technologies, originally developed for use in high-power ‘Prosound’ subwoofers.
The Encore series represents Audiomobile’s first 1,000 watt subwoofer design, and features an array of advanced, unique performance technologies, including huge, OFC dual voice coil, on a TIL high-power former. To handle this extreme thermal load the Encore is features both upper and lower alloy “Shorting Rings” (‘FSD’), as well as the unique radial “ICAR” Intercooling plate, to provide unparalleled conduction cooling and remarkably low-inductance, regardless of the voice coil position.
Featuring an unprecedented performance-envelope, in a ‘low-profile’ driver, the new Encore series delivers a remarkable 19 mm linear Xmax, Klippel verified and will handle over 1,000 watts RMS. This is only made possible by the combined horizontal and vertical “SuperCool” (Stasis Uni-Polar Endo-Radial) technology. This truly unique, vertical cooling design, represents a quantum-leap in convection-cooling of subwoofer motors, as it allows direct, high-velocity air-flow over the coil windings, unlike traditional axial-pole vent designs, which do not actually provide effective voice coil cooling.
The 4K series also features include the proprietary, patent-pending “ICAR” Intercooler as well as the unique, Aluminum “FSD” (Flux Stabilization Device), which together serve to significantly lower inductance, reduces Intermodulation distortion and virtually eliminates power-compression. This all translates to greater output and higher power-handling.
Unique ‘T-shaped’ extended magnetic-gap, with extended Aluminum ‘Shorting Ring’ crown.
Patent-pending ‘ICAR’ Aluminum Intercooler, reduces power-compression and distortion
Proprietary “SuperCool” motor venting delivers high-velocity, direct voice coil forced-air cooling
This unprecedented combination of features allows for up to 4,000 watt (‘4 Kw’) musicpower peaks, but was designed to perform optimally in both sealed and vented enclosures, from .80 cf to 1.25 cf (for the 4412 and 4415 respectively).
Additional features include high-performance suspension features a heavy-duty, premium EROM surround, and large flat-spider, with ‘in-line’ lead wires, to allow up to 2-inches of peak to peak excursion provided by the unique motor. This performance is packaged in a very compact 4.9” and 5.9” mounting-depth, making the Encore series the longest excursion, “low-profile” subwoofer on the market. The Encore series starts at $650 MSRP. Please visit Facebook.com/Audiomobile.net for more information.
