The experience provided attendees the opportunity to experience the various Greenwood District history sites and enjoy an organized cultural festival. The Greenwood District was once characterized by bustling streets with hotels, theaters, doctors offices, restaurants, nightlife establishments and more. As one of the most prosperous African-American communities in the United States, the district would earn the name, “Black Wall Street”. On May 31, 1921 a white mob attacked black residents and destroyed homes and businesses of the Greenwood District. The Tulsa Race Riot, as it’s now known, is considered the single worst incident of racial violence in American history. The Black Wall Street Rally keeps the memory of the prosperous times alive while shining a light on the atrocities that occurred there just over 100 years ago with a motorcycle inspired event held in the historic Greenwood District. The rally prohibited any form of racism, sexism, intolerance, anti-Semitism, white supremacy or hate speech.

MORTON GROVE, IL (05.17.24) – The House of Electronics 2024 Dealer Show will take place at the company’s Morton Grove facility on Tuesday May 21st… A massive 5,000 sq. ft tent will be placed in the parking area with vendor tables and  booths arranged throughout the space. Lights will be in place as the the event starts at 6pm with the Sound Off Competitions on the grounds starting at 7pm. There will be 2 SPL contests… one for motorcycles and the other for vehicles. 4 foot trophies with $250. prizes await the winners. Josh Johnson from Stereo Loud will be in the lane to display the dB’s to competitors. Show cars from the dealers  and consumers in the area will be showcased too.The Dealer Show is set to wrap at 11 pm.

Teg Manchanda related “We had a great turnout for our show last year with over 50 dealers in the house and 106 people. We will have  mouth-watering fresh street tacos made to order.like last year. Over 25 reps represented more than 40 vendors setup under the tent banquet style and showcased the latest in their lines. That show included had over 100 items with super show special prices. Some brands, including KICKER, Pioneer, Maxxsonics, SounDigital, Metra, Reikken, Atrend, Race Sport Lighting, Rockford Fosgate, PRV, BOSS Audio, Epsilon, and Magnadyne showed their latest. We are working to make our 2024 show even more exciting for area dealers and our vendor partners. We will have a sheet for dealers when they register to get signatures in booths they visit. Dealers who visit all booths receive a free prize too.”

An extra special attraction will be the absolutely amazing Limo Jet. The Lima Jet has the body of a Jet but will roll in on wheels. A totally custom interior features plush seating, sound system and video. Dealers will be able to take a seat in the Limo Jet at the House of Electronics Show.

There will be a 4 model KICKER speaker promo package special that Edeling and KICKER put together for the show. Ebeling offered “The House Dealer show is always top notch. The work on the Motorcycles and Slingshots in the Sound Off Competition last year was amazing and gave many dealers ideas for business at their stores. We are looking forward to next Tuesday.”

BLOOMINGTON, MN (05.16.24) – The D Source Distributing Dealer Appreciation Open House on Tuesday, May 14th at the company’s HQ, packed the house. Nearly 2 dozen of the industry’s top brands filled the warehouse house to showcase their latest products and connect with dealers from across the territory. Vendor tables in the warehouse were covered with custom table cloths with the company’s logo. Under tents outside JL Audio had a SXS, there was a Jeep Wrangler and an eBike set for demos.

The buzz across the territory was super and dealers started to arrive when the doors opened. There were nearly 40 dealers in the house with well over 100 people in attendance with their staff members. Lunch was at 12 and all enjoyed the Jimmy Johns catered sandwiches.

“At 2 Erik Harbour conducted a training. Lucas Lighting conducted a training at 4 PM. At 5 o’clock there was dinner with a variety of delicious Italian favorites. All the raffles started at 7 PM. There were over $5000 cash and prizes available during the show raffles. Dealers all earned one ticket for every $500 they spent to enter into the raffle. It was definitely an exciting day as the doors closed at 9” Josh Burris, DNR Sales, related.

AUBURN HILLS, MI (05.10.24) – Alps Alpine North America, Inc. (“Alpine”) will attend the 2024 Pacific Northwest Mobile Electronics Expo at the Double Tree by Hilton at Southcenter in Seattle, Washington from Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15 where they will offer vehicle demonstrations and detailed training on new and exciting product offerings.

Alpine will have a booth equipped with two demo vehicles showcasing the precision auto-tuning capabilities of the Alpine OPTIM8™ 8-Channel Sound Processor and Amplifier and the industry’s first complete sound system upgrade designed specifically for Tesla.

Gregg Thomas, Director of National Sales for the Alpine Brand Division at Alps Alpine North America, Inc., will co-host an “OEM Integration” roundtable discussion on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the “Paradise” room covering the importance of understanding the benefits and overcoming the challenges of OEM Integration.

Colin Vargo, Alpine Brand Specialist for the East Coast Regions, will lead two training sessions on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in “Summit 1” and Wednesday at 10:10 a.m. in “Summit 2” covering the transformational power of Alpine’s OPTIM™ family line and the powerful sound system upgrade kits designed specifically for Tesla.

DALLAS, TX (05.09.24) – Sunday, May 5th was the date of the SSR Distributors Dealer Show at the company’s Dallas location. The 25,000 square foot location was packed with over 400 people on site with well over 80 dealers plus over three dozen manufacturers represented by factory and rep firms in the territory.

Tracy Farr, SSR VP Sales/Ops, related, “Our Dallas team worked very hard to draw an amazing turnout from 12volt dealers from across the territory. The support from our vendor partners and their representatives was also over the top. Right at 40 of our 12volt vendors and manufacturers displayed their products on tables and areas we set up throughout the warehouse. We offered crazy deals on select products at the event. Demo vehicles were also live in the parking lot.”

Free food, thousands of dollars in giveaways and TONS of new products on display drew 12volt specialists and their respective crews to participate in the Mega event. AutoTech Engineering and Uniden along with Rockford Fosgate and Kenwood held training sessions for dealers in attendance.

SSR CEO Amir Dhanani, COO Arshad Dhanani and Media Specialist & SSR University Trainer Paul Galanos traveled from Houston to be on site for the Dallas Dealer Show.
