BOCA RATON, FL (06.23.22) – Tint World Automotive Styling Centers has been ranked no. 162 in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Global Franchise list for 2022.
The recognition follows the fast-growing franchise’s eighth consecutive appearance in Entrepreneur’s highly competitive Franchise 500 earlier this year. Tint World also appeared in Entrepreneur’s 2021 Top Global Franchise rankings.
“The Tint World family is passionately committed to growth, both in the United States and internationally,” said Charles J. Bonfiglio, CEO and president of Tint World. “This important industry ranking demonstrates that our franchisees and our franchise support team members are working hard to deliver the best automotive styling experience to customers around the world.”
Entrepreneur determines its global rankings based on a formula similar to the one used for the Franchise 500. However, in the global ranking, international size and growth are weighed more heavily. Other evaluation criteria include costs and fees, franchisee support, brand strength and financial strength and stability.
DIAMOND BAR, CA (06.22.22) – Updates to the SEMA Industry Awards reflect changes in the automotive specialty-equipment industry and give winners greater recognition for their contributions.
As e-commerce expands and data-driven transactions become more routine, the SEMA Warehouse Distributor of the Year award has evolved and is rebranded as the new Channel Partner of the Year award. This award honors the contributions of sales, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce channel(s) in the industry, while still continuing to recognize beneficial efforts by distribution companies as they support retailers.
The SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast, held Tuesday morning, November 1, before the start of the 2022 SEMA Show, will honor the Best New Products at the SEMA Show and recognize the Manufacturer of the Year and the new Channel Partner of the Year.
The Channel Partner of the Year award, along with the Manufacturer of the Year award, will be presented for the first time at the SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast on Tuesday morning, November 1, before the SEMA Show officially opens. Previously known as the New Products Awards Breakfast, the morning event on the first day of the Show makes it possible for winners to promote the honor while the industry is gathered in Las Vegas, and makes it easy for the industry to connect and honor the winners all week long.
Other industry awards, including the SEMA Person of the Year and GEN-III Innovator of the Year, will be presented at the Thursday evening SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet. Nominations for all four awards are now being accepted at www.sema.org/awards.
“The SEMA Industry Awards represent the industry, and as the industry evolves, we’re pleased to be able to evolve the awards as well,” said Chris Standifer, SEMA Project Manager of Recognition Programs. “We’re also excited to recognize the valuable contributions of leading companies at the SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast for the first time this year. As businesses connect throughout the week of the Show, it will be great for winning companies to be able to be recognized in Las Vegas.”
Nominating an individual or business for a SEMA Industry Award is the best way to show appreciation for one’s significant and positive impact on the specialty-equipment market. Submit a nomination by July 15 at www.sema.org/awards.

STILLWATER, OK (06.17.22) – KICKER is celebrating a trio of audio-equipped rides awarded in the Street Trucks magazine “Slamology Top-10 Trucks” list, put together by editors following the show’s conclusion June 12 at Lucas Oil Raceway.
All three top-tier trucks spent their time as featured vehicles parked in front of KICKER’s XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) during the weekend, accumulating a non-stop crowd of awestruck spectators. John Farr’s 1980 Dodge D-50 pickup, known as the Ramster, sports a 3000-watt system that drives a half dozen KICKER subwoofers and 10 KICKER Q-Class speakers.
KICKER Special Projects Manager Tim Smith won “Best Interior” honors with his custom Chevy Silverado. It is equipped with a KICKER Q-Class amplifier and speaker system, along with a pair of eight-inch L7T square subwoofers in a custom enclosure.
Rounding out the honorees is a GMC Sierra showcasing a system installed by Indianapolis native Paul “Handmade” Howard. The system features L7T square subs, KICKER speakers and eight KICKER CX-Series amplifiers.
Billed as one of the largest car, truck and mobile-audio events in the world, Slamology featured in excess of 2,000 show cars over the two-day event, with nearly 20,000 spectators passing through the gates.
BUTLER, PA (06.16.22) – The 11h Annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival took place June 10th thru 12th in historic downtown Butler PA and on the Cooper’s Lake Campground. Over 15,000 Jeepers attended the weekend and enjoyed off-road trails, obstacle courses and a huge vendor area filled with companies that offer aftermarket products for Jeep owners and enthusiasts. The downtown Butler Jeep Invasion witnessed over 1000 Jeeps parked along main street and parking areas in the town of approximately 13,000 located 35 miles north of Pittsburgh. Butler was named the 7th Best Small Town in America in a Smithsonian Magazine in 2012.
Team Nutz is located about 35 miles from the Jeep Bantam Festival and had a big footprint at the event.
AAMP Global’s Christian Venn is flanked by Rusty North (L) and Ed Nuttal from Team Nutz. North is with End Result and was on site representing AAMP Global’s Jeep intensive Stinger brand.
Team Nutz is a proactive 12volt retailer located in Pittsburgh and returned to the Bantam Jeep Festival for the 2022 run. Ed Nuttall related, “The JeepFest draws thousands of Jeepers, enthusiasts and their rides. That crowd is noted for adding aftermarket products to their rides. We do a lot of Jeep upgrades at the store, and being so close to our store in Pittsburgh, it makes perfect sense for our brand to be on site. We had a great crew on site with vendor support, a large booth area with multiple tents plus several demo vehicles. Sales this year were strong and our team made contact with quite a number of promising prospects.”
Attendance at this year‘s event was strong as it has been in past years.
Jeepers also spent time on trails located on the very area around the Butler area.
The Team Nutz team on site this year totaled 8 with strong support from Stinger Electronics’ Christian Venn and Rusty North from End Result. The AAMP of America Stinger booth was next to the Team Nutz tent. Several good customers and Jeepers were also adjacent to Team Nutz on the grounds.
The Stinger Heigh 10, which takes a Jeeper’s infotainment system to the next level, was one of the hottest products in the Team Nutz booth. On site installations were hampered somewhat by a shortage kits.

Doug Burns rewards this vintage Jeep with Team Nutz Blue Duck… one of 1300 given out at the event.
“Stinger was a great support team, with Christian Venn and the AAMP truck, to work side by side at the event. With their expertise and products in the booth right next to our booth they spoon fed us sales,” Nuttall added.
Today Jeepers are showing their support for other Jeep vehicles with blue rubber ducks. “We made 1500 custom blue rubber ducks for the event and placed over 1300 on Jeeps we liked. Downtown we went down along parked Jeeps and put the blue ducks of hoods and around door handles. The blue rubber ducks had the Team Nutz logo for all to see and remember,” Nuttall related.
Rosie was popular and received three ducks including a Team Nutz Blue Duck. People reward Jeeps they like with small rubber ducks.
The Team Nutz booth stretched well over 100 feet.
Concluding, Nuttall stated, “This was our 6th or 7th time to exhibit at the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. Based on our success at this year’s event expect to see us at the 2023 event and beyond.
