TAMPA, FL (10.01.24) – Today at the International BoatBuilders’s Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), Hertz Marine, the renowned Italian producer of marine-grade audio equipment, revealed the H16 DSP A2B, a groundbreaking digital signal processor designed for seamless integration with marine OEM displays and the latest Hertz Marine sources. This innovative technology leverages the A2B protocol to deliver unparalleled audio performance with an industry-first 24-bit/96kHz resolution Hi-Res Audio certification.

The H16 DSP A2B transforms the marine audio experience by facilitating fully digital audio transmission over a streamlined two-wire system. By eliminating traditional analog cables, it minimizes the risk of interference, ensuring pristine sound quality. The device is designed to easily connect to OEM displays and can be controlled via A2B, allowing for amplifier placement closer to power sources, which reduces installation time, cabling requirements, complexity, and system weight.

“With the H16 DSP A2B, we are setting a new standard for marine audio,” said Pietro Pantaleone, Global President of Elettromedia. “Our commitment to quality and innovation ensures that OEM partners, boat builders, and owners can enjoy an easily controlled, high-fidelity audio experience right from the moment they launch their boats.”
The H16 DSP A2B boasts a Hi-Res Audio certification, managing up to 16 channels at an impressive 24-bit/96kHz resolution. The advanced dual-processor architecture ensures that both standard and high-resolution audio files are reproduced with unmatched clarity and depth. The onboard Hertz DSP engine allows for precise sound customization tailored to each boat model, providing a rich, non-fatiguing listening experience, ideal for true audiophiles.

Using Hertz’s proprietary DSP software, audio can easily be configured during production, ensuring a high-quality audio experience from the moment the boat is launched.
Attendees of IBEX 2024, can explore the new technology at Hertz Marine’s booth #3-431 or Enovation Control’s booth #3-1517 as part of an integrated experience with the PowerView U120 display.
