TULSA, OK (09.24.24) – Car Toys Tulsa hosted the 1st Annual Rides For Hope event at their location on Saturday, September 21st. Well over 80 bikes and vehicles were in the parking lot at the company’s Tulsa location.

Mark Adams, Store Manager, related “The event far exceeded our expectations. We raised over $5000 for the Rides for Hope initiative. This group will utilize the proceeds to buy used cars and or repair cars that will be donated to drivers who have completed their rehabilitation program.”

The entire Car Toy Tulsa property and adjoining businesses were filled with vehicles and people on site checking out the activities. Inside the store, people came inside to buy their raffle tickets and check out specials for the day. During the day many quotes and estimates for new purchases were made to consumers in the showroom.

The event happened from 9 AM to 4 PM and the Brothers Just Wingin’ It food truck was on site. Staff members Chance, Bill, Matt, Gabe, Frank and Mark worked the event along with owner Lisa Stewart. A post event dinner at Lucky’s capped the very full day.

A local friend, Damon’s Droneography, also was overhead with his drone taking amazing images and footage. Events of this type provide a way for 12volt retailers to connect with members of the community, sponsor local causes and drive long term business.

“In today’s market, many people are keeping their cars longer and there are so many aftermarket upgrades available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces can easily add smartphone functionality and enjoyment as drivers are on the road. Also dash cams add so many safety features and document accidents that could happen on the road” Adams concluded.
