SANFORD, ME (08.01.24) – The 28th Annual Sanford Sound Show N’ Shine filled the grounds surrounding the company’s retail location on Sunday, July 28th.

“This year’s Show N’ Shine was the fourth at our new location and the weather was absolutely perfect. Last year we were mobbed. This year was even busier and the largest ever for our Annual Show N’ Shine as we had 186 cars registered. It seemed almost every square foot of our property was filled with Show N’ Shine cars and activities” owner Jack Bogard related.

First stop early Sunday morning was for all us to check in to register their vehicles.
Soon the area in front of the store was filled with vehicles and others had to park on the side or down below.
By early afternoon, attendees were walking down past vehicles to see even more vehicles in the area behind the store.

Continuing “On Friday night there was a classic car parade on the main drag that was packed. I was set up as a DJ and played music for the crowd plus could promote our Sunday event. Saturday the Sanford Sound Team spent the day getting everything ready for the Show N’ Shine. Local business owners said they had never seen Route 4 so busy on Sunday” Bogard offered.

The entire area behind the store was filled with Show vehicles.

Food trucks were on site and the lemonade stand reported selling over 300 refreshments. The Becker BBQ trailer was packed and the BBQ was so good. Also, we had a number of cars with out of state license plates… including Connecticut, Vermont, New York and Rhode Island I was buzzing around on a Blaupunkt eBike and it got attention” Bogard added.
