LAKELAND, FL (03.26.24) – The new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire movie was the top box movie last weekend… debuting Friday night March 22nd. Tunes-N-Tint in Lakeland hosted a private prescreening on Thursday night for 70 contest winner at the local Cinemark theater.
“We do new release movies with the local movie theater and radio station. We prescreen the movies the day before the theatrical releases and rent out a theater in the local Cinemark. We supply our guests with free tickets, popcorn and drinks. We give out 50 tickets the 6 weeks leading up to the screening on the local radio station. So far we’ve done Top Gun, Indiana Jones, Fast X, Black Panther and Ghostbusters” Joe Cassity related.
Tunes-N-Tint has 3 more pre-screenings scheduled for 2024….Tentatively Bad Boy 4, Deadpool 3 and Beetlejuice 2.
Continuing “Our guest get to see the movie the DAY BEFORE it comes out so it creates a lot of excitement for the ticket giveaways on the radio and of course promoting our name and brand to all the listeners the 6 weeks leading up to the event. We don’t pay for the radio ads as we trade the giveaway tickets and some extras in exchange for the air time. It’s a huge win for everyone involved with very little expense.”
Concluding “It’s a great way to get a lot of exposure in our local market while doing a fun event with local partners. We’re pretty active in our local market from a marketing and community involvement perspective. We also events with this radio station’s sister station for St Jude fund raising and movies as well” stated Cassity.
Cassity has previous connections with local movie theaters. Tunes-N-Tint will soon celebrate 22 years in business serving consumers in Lakeland FL and surrounding area.
