PITTSBURGH/LAS VEGAS (11.20.23) – The SEMA Show 2023 had been on the Team Nutz calendar since last year’s SEMA Show. Ed Nuttall, who is behind the Team Nutz wheel, related “The SEMA Show is such an opportunity to stay connected with all aspects of the automotive aftermarket industry…certainly including mobile electronics. The Team Nutz Team that traveled from Pittsburgh to Vegas included my wife Nina and father plus 10 additional team numbers. Each member of the team was totally engaged everyday during the trip.”

The SEMA Show 2023 took place from October 31st-November 3rd, Tuesday through Friday. The Team Nutz team headed to Vegas on Saturday morning on multiple flights. Saturday was a day to get settled for the coming week. After delays at the picking up vehicles at the airport rental they headed to the Wyndham property close to the LVCC in a mini-van and Excursion.

Sunday was a fun day for all with a trip to Top Gold in Las Vegas to sharpen their games along with dinner. Monday team members split into teams and collectively visited 8 different locations around Vegas called with dinner and a show at Excalibur.
“On Monday a group of the guys visited the Shelby Heritage Center. Carol Shelby is an icon in the automotive industry and the Shelby Heritage Center is filled with dozens and dozens of Shelby Mustangs and more. It was certainly a day we will all remember” Nuttall related.

On Tuesday all of the team members gathered for the trip to the LVCC that was close to the Wyndham. The short trip tuned into a trip of close to an hour due to all of the street congestion around Vegas for the upcoming Formula 1 Race down the Vegas Strip and surrounding areas. Throughout the day Team Nutz crew members checked out the exhibitor booths in various halls of the LVCC before dinner and a return to the hotel.

Wednesday’s schedule was very similar the day prior. “One of the main things we had on the agenda was to further develop our relationships with suppliers and industry partners. No doubt the retail world is changing with all the online activity and now the AI realm. Visiting with top vendor partners like Nick Lomonaco, President on Memphis Audio, was a highlight of the day. Seeing many friends and networking added to the successes of the day” Nuttall stated.

On Thursday the Team Nutz crew went to the AAPEX Show that took place at the same time as the SEMA Show. Team Nutz is always looking for products like hardware, fasteners and various products used in the install bays and other businesses Team Nutz is associated with in the Pittsburgh area.

Friday was another day of networking at the LVCC capped by the SEMA Show Parade. Then it was to the airport with all the luggage packed earlier for the trip to the airport for the trip back to Pittsburgh for the Team Nutz crew.

In followup conversations with the 12volt Central Studios Nuttall offered the trip to SEMA 2023 was very successful. Experiencing the upbeat mood on the show floor, seeing new products and continuing to build relationships were key takeaways.
