The position of Purchasing/Buyer Assistant would work with our lead buyer to manage inventory by watching sell through velocity and assisting with re-ordering of products. This position offers opportunity for growth to the right talented individual.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing supply agreements with key supplier partners
  • Preparation of purchase orders in support of operations to meet sales volume
  • Develop Sales Strategies in conjunction with other department heads.
  • Ensure pricing/invoicing consistency as well as maintain accurate data in a ERP system
  • Ability to analyze supplier cost positions, inventory/planning strategies
  • Creating and maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the Sales Team to convey inventory and stock positions.

Job Requirements:

  • Supply Chain/Purchasing experience
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft software; Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working in a wholesale distribution ERP environment
