R&D Distributing Kicked Off The ‘Rock The House’ Tour

LENEXA, KS (05.10.22) – The 2022 R&D Distributing ‘Rock The House’ 6-City Tour kicked off Wednesday, May 4th, in the Kansas City suburb of Lenexa KS.

“Everyone at R&D is excited to have our ‘Rock The House’ events back and running after a two year COVID hiatus. Last week’s event really got the 2022 tour off to a great start. The staffs are ready at each location, reps are ready and the deals at each location are set, and as always, will be unbeatable. The R&D events are a must attend for any dealer looking to learn, buy product or just to stop by and visit the facilities. The event in Lenexa was the first since opening that location and the dealer turnout was terrific” Al Congdon related.

At the event AGT showed off their new Transcend line of car audio and new line of Bluetooth products. For AGT Congdon relayed “We’ve been working on these products for quite some time and we’re excited to unveil them to dealers. These products represent tremendous margins for the dealer and a great value for the customer. In the time of rising prices AGT products were designed to fill holes in dealer’s current mix by offering high quality, value driven performance.”

The new AGT-TS8X2.4 750 Watt 8”subwoofer was one of the new products introduced.

At the Lenexa location Colin Russell, Ray Smith and Brett ‘Bogie’ Bogner welcomed dealers, showed dealers the new location and provided info about all the onsite specials. Brett Phelps, area R&D representative, was also in the house.

Phelps offered “The hours were 9AM to 7PM and we had brats, burgers, beer and soft drinks available from noon to 6PM. The new grille worked out great. We also gift bags, special pricing for those attending plus raffles for cool prizes. Also, a number of factory reps and R&D staff members engaged with dealers about products at The Rock the House event.”

Contining Phelps related “Well before the 9AM opening there were dealers waiting outside. Dealers in the MINK States were really excited to attend the R&D in-person show. We had dealers from Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Western Kansas plus dealers from across the ‘Show Me’ state. Some of the dealers drove 300 miles each way to attend the show.”

R&D staff members were busy throughout the day pulling orders for dealers.

The remaining R&D Rock The House tour dates are Salt Lake City May 10th, Denver May 12th, Grand Rapids May 17th, Detroit May 19th and Arizona October 6th.

Nina Contreras, SiriusXM, will attend the R&D events in SLC and Denver. “SiriusXM has a lot to talk about with dealers. Our new Training Portal sessions have been well attended plus the new SiriusXM products for truckers is getting traction in the marketplace. Contreras is the Western Retail representative for SiriusXM.
