Edward’s Audio Spotlights JBL at Rumble on the Island

GRAND ISLAND, NE (09.23.2021) – Edward’s Audio sponsored the 8th Annual Rumble on the Island on Sunday, September 19th. The event was centered at the Edward’s Audio store and included a number of events in the town of just over 50,000 in southeastern Nebraska. A Car Show, Midwest SPL event and Police escorted cruise through downtown were featured along with family activities that included bounce house and corn-hole tournament. Food trucks were also onsite.

The Edward’s Audio JBL branded ‘Milk Truck’, totally loaded with JBL, was a standout in front of the company’s store. Brian Bohrer and Larry Alvarez are partners in the business since 2014. Alvarez related to The 12volt News “We are always looking for ways to have fun in the community and build the Edward’s Audio brand. The Rumble on the Island event is growing growing each year and a way for us to put our brand in front of a wide audience. We finished the Edward’s Audio JBL vehicle this summer and it definitely attracted attention with the great paint and of course the sound of the JBL system that includes 24 woofers. No one left the event without seeing and experiencing the JBL rig.”

The custom interior installation work is world-class!

The Edward’s Audio team worked with JBL’s Shawn Spedding and Chris Pace with Arrowhead Marketing the area JBL rep firm. Pace related “I think it is awesome to see dealers promoting large systems and emphasizing sound quality. I was amazed at how good the truck sounded and think is will definitely be a good tool in their toolbox for reaching consumers well into the future.”

The back area of the truck is a full sound room including seating for the show!

Concluding Alvarez stated “We certainly appreciate the support from JBL, Shawn, Chris. Members of our team, Savion Smith and Austin Muhlbach, spent a lot of time and energy designing and installing the gear to make the JBL system come alive in the Edward’s Audio rig. During the days it is parked at our store where people can see it driving by and that continues the return on the investment for all.”

The police escorted downtown cruise capped the Rumble on the Island event.

Great to see 12volt retailers, like Edward’s Audio, creating interest in their respective communities to drive mobile electronics interest and sales.

A big thanks to Chris Pace for the heads up on the event and utilizing the 12voltSTP Tool to send images of the rig and event.
