AUSTIN, TX (08.05.2020) – After careful consideration, the dBDRA has elected to combine the 2020 and 2021 competition seasons. The ongoing global pandemic combined with continually changing event restrictions make it virtually impossible to plan or produce a Championship event. Competitor memberships, earned points, certified scores, and world records for the current 2020 season will carry over to the new, hybrid season.

According to Wayne Harris, dBDRA President, “There are many benefits to an extended season, and we are excited to begin work on something special for 2021. We expect huge participation once restrictions are lifted. Until then, stay safe.”

dBDRA World Records
The 2020/2021 dBDRA World Records are NOW Live. World Records are reserved for dBDRA Members and may only be set at Triple Point events and the dBDRA Championship. To establish a new dB Drag Racing World Record, the competitor must beat the old record twice at the same event. The lower of the competitor’s two record-breaking scores will be used as the new record. As the season progresses, the World Records will be updated. Good luck to everyone!
